I have to say though, I really like the stripe down the center of the helmet.

 

I like it other than the stripe on the helmet. I'd still like to see more of a throwback look incorporated, but this is one of the better mock-ups I've seen.

 

Love the logo. Hate the helmet stripe and the orange numbers on the home jersey though. Hope this catches someones eye.

 

I think that orange needs to be added back in, instead of that neon blood-orange color.

Numbers look terrible.

Seems like an Arena League uniform IMO.

Only thing that's good is the logo is better than the cartoony one we currently have.
Wouldn't be long before it's out of style and we're back to the drawing board again. That's why closer to traditional is better.

Love the logo...best I have seen so far, by far. Not a fan of the stripe down the center. Something more along a Bronco style design would be sweet with the logo imo.

 

It's too interrupted. i.e. the white pants. I'd prefer more aqua in the pants, make it more uniform, like Seahawks' uniform.

I usually hate mock ups as they always look ridiculous. I love that logo... Seriously looks cool and what I would consider a legit update.

The colors of the unit are eh, imo. The logo is much darker than the unis. I would like to see some consistency. Also don't like the Orange numbers, they look tacky. Also, I would rather adapt a more blue aqua tbh.

 

Yeah, i like the logo a lot but the uni's not so much. Like others said I don't like the orange numbers and I think a little more aqua should be incorporated. The helmet stripe is ugly too. Also think the logo shouldn't be on the jersey and the pants, I like the more plain look with the stripes on the bottom of the sleeves.

 

Def. agree about less is more. Honestly, I would love nothing more than that logo and a modified color scheme on the U's uniforms circa 2001. Id also like orange to be primary.

 

Really like the logo. Not a fan of the all white. Not a fan of the orange numbers on the aqua jerseys either.

Not a huge fan of the stripe on the helmet either.

I fixed the colors and cut the blue, etc.

Just a lazy tweak. But this would be an A+ in my opinion! Freakin Awesome. Looks more like the old dolphin, more of a faceless outline..... cleaner and meaner than the current one.... the subtraction of the helmet is welcome too. The angle shadow of the sun is a very nice touch. I hope the real one is as close to this as possible.

yup, I just think plain look more sharp and not too over the top. Like the alabama uni's or something like that, one colored numbers without the 3D look and outline and no logo except for on the helmet. Would be kinda cool if they had a bunch of different alternates with the orange being on the numbers with the white jerseys and then doing the same thing with the aqua numbers. I just want to get rid of the aqua horse collar on the white jerseys, looks goofy, just needs to be all white.

 

The quickly revised one is painful to me, why are people so against the navy? I feel it adds much depth to the logo and fits seemlessly. Using very contrasting colors doesn't do that for me. At least as it was in the mock.

 

What is the origin of this "mock" ?

Edit: can't stand the navy, it looks like we're trying hard to be the broncos..... We've also gone downhill since adding the 3rd color. ( I think we're the only team that has 3 non- neutral colors, unless Seattle still uses some light blue)

 

If you told me that was the re-design, I would believe it.

It's a bit less than timeless, though. I could imagine 15 years from now it would be regarded as 2010's as hell and there be a popular campaign to change it. Too many of the same elements of the other recent redesigns would date it.

 

Once they put the helmet back on the aquatic mammal it will be complete.

 

definitely love the helmet, even with the extra blue. uni tops are fine. uni bottoms stink

 

XFL had some really good logos.

Arena league also has good logos.

 

Way too much navy in the Dolphin.

The numbers should be reworked in terms of font.

That orange helmet stripe needs to be reworked (thinner and solid orange I'd say).

I could live with this as is, but it could get better.

 

It actually doesn't add depth, it draws the eye away from our actual orange and aqua colors and right to the navy. Go have a painting framed and they'll likely tell you the same thing about picking out borders.
