Well here we are again, our last home game of the season.
This time against the Toronto...errr.... Buffalo Bills, a game we need to keep our tremendously slim playoff hopes alive.
We had a pretty strong game (for us) last week, and I hope it's something we can build on. Perhaps we can score like 27 today and our defense can keep the Bills out of the endzone.
Most of all I just want a win, no matter the score, and hopefully our Special Teams unit performs better than they did in the last Bills game.
Anyway, hope everyone has a great weekend (made better by today's results) and that they have a good Christmas holiday (or whatever days you choose to celebrate or not celebrate).
Go Dolphins!

I expect a really good performance today, last home game of the year- I would imagine they want go out on a high note and give the fans something positive to think about. They`re pretty banged up but should still have enough in their tank to beat the Bills. 27-13 sounds about right.

Thank you and Happy Holidays to you all.
Now for the Bills game here.. they are coming off a thrashing at home to the Seahawks in which their D gave up 50 points. The last time we played a team that was coming off a home thrashing was the Titans and we can all remember what happened then. Lets hope we don't take them too lightly this time around. We've got a lot of people banged up. It's going to be a close one I fear. We will not be able to run up the middle vs this defense... no Daniel Thomas to even try it. I think Tannehill has to light it up early and often. Without Bess (possibly Hartline as well) and Clay, it's a tall ask. Can our defense win us this game with some turnovers and points of their own?Bpk likes this. -

I just thought I would check in to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year. My wife and I have taken our grandsons and our daughter and son-in-law to Colorado for the holidays. So while I won't be able to watch the game today, I will be rooting for the Dolphins to pull out a win. As I ski down the slopes of Vail today, my thoughts will be on the game.
Everyone have a great holiday season and I'll be back after the new year to push the buttons on all you Ireland supporters.:up:Paul 13, Mexphin, DePhinistr8 and 2 others like this. -
I am debating whether to start Rivers vs the Jets or get Tannehill vs the Bills.

Hopefully we see good progression from Tannehill against a team hes already played.

Then again, rivers sucks. Do INTs could vs you? If not take Rivers, if so take Tanny -
This begins our legendary 21 game win streak with Egnew in the lineup... All

Let's keep our hopes alive today! LET'S GO DOLPHINS!!

Randy Cross and Bob Criqui today for the announcers I believe. That sucks if true. But then again, I think they've called some games for us before and we have done well, so listening to them may be horrid, but if the result is good its a win, I guess.

If Eggnog acquits himself well, does the staff get bashed for being overly-cautious, or praised for not rushing him in? I'm leaning toward it being boneheaded simply because they were forced into playing him.

So both our starting receivers are definitely out for today?

Ben Volin @BenVolinPBP Oh, and WR Brian Hartline is indeed active today, as I said beforeSleepy likes this. -

not to keen on patterson starting at cb , slot instead of jimmy wilson yes
sums up our great depth if patterson has gone ahead of stanford and mcCann [what did the latter do wrong in the jags game?] already -
Can someone list the teams we should be rooting for to win today? Seriously, can someone compile a list of all 14 teams for this week?

Depending on which Fitzpatrick shows up he can be dangerous at times. More times then not that isnt the Fitz that shows up but he is not somebody who should be underestimated. Spiller concerns me more however. He is the guy that can take control of a game and wear defenses down.

I hope the game makes up for these announcers. Geez.
Surprised we didn't get Steve Tasker. :eyeroll:
