Oh don't you dare be sour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BOW DOWN TO THE MIAMI POWER!!!!!!
THE MIAMI DOLPHINS HOME OPENER IS HERE!!!!!!
ITS A NEW DAY YES IT IS!!!!!!!!
Oh Rex Ryan.....we meet again!!!!!!!!!! I love imagining the feeling of Chad Henne, Ted Ginn and the Wildcat defeating you on a national TV.....I picture the feeling of rage through your body, and I imagine bottling that feeling and selling it on the shelves of CVS for a profit, because you had to have been pissed through the ROOOOFFFFF
In case you forgot the rage:

:32 seconds if you wanna start masturbating
Rex Ryan you're back....however instead of you dawning the puke green colors of the new york jets, you decided to dumb yourself down and coach a franchise thats NEVER won a championship, is in the middle of no where, and has more married related folks than chicken wing recipes......
BUFFALO.
The word "buffalo" sounds like how you'd describe how you feel when calling out of work.
Boss: "Hello"
You: "Hey boss, I can't come in today, I feel terrible"
Boss: "Oh no, whats wrong?!?!"
You: " I am not sure, but I went to the doctor and I have......Buffalo. I have been puking for hours!"
Boss: "Oh no, you're contagious, and have been diagnosed with being a loser with no aspirations to change the world or contribute anything meaningful to this universe.......take as much time as you need"
The city of buffalo and Rex Ryan deserve each other.
I love doing this thread right now, I found out today with the Toronto Blue Jays clinching a playoff birth today, the Buffalo Bills have the LONGEST PLAYOFF DROUGHT IN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS CURRENTLY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!
That means out of hockey, baseball, basketball and football......every. single. ****ing. team. has gone to the playoffs more recently than the Buffalo ****ing Bills.
Every team. Thats the Houston Rockets. The Miami Marlins. The Miami Dolphins. The Miami Heat. The Atlanta Hawks. The Florida Panthers. The NY Jets. The Oakland Raiders. The Cleveland ****ing Browns. The Memphis Grizzles. have all gone to the playoffs more recently than the Buffalo Bills.
Enjoy

You guys are the ONLY joke of a franchise to go to not 1.....
not 2.....
not 3............
but 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 STRAIGHT SUPER BOWLS!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND YOU DIDN'T WIN ANY OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know whether to laugh or laugh....it couldn't happen to a better bunch of ****ing losers in a northern NY city, that provides this country with nothing meaningful. You mine as well be Canadian! (no offense to our canadian Dolfans on this board).....You take all of the rest of the AFC Easts cast offs and think you've got some amazing super team. Charles Clay, Percy Harvin.....you're starting Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. Mark Sanchez's fantasy team "The Flying buttfumbles" would laugh and start Tebow over Taylor on his roster.
At 4:25 today, the Miami Dolphins open their home season, their updated stadium, their city, their HOME with a victory over the scum of the NFL. Cleveland fans drink until they puke on Sunday evenings and between gags choke out the words "At......least......*puke*.....we're......not.....* puke*........Buffalo......*gag*......Bills fans"
You know it, we know it, the world knows it. **** you. **** New york, **** your wings.....brown sugar/honey/soy sauce/garlic/pepper make better sauce for wings than Buffalo sauce. What the **** is a "Bill" ?!!?? Kill yourselves. You'll want to, after we beat that *** today! 2-1! Go Dolphins!
LETS GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!! GET HYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There isn't much confidence from our fanbase going into this one. It's evident most people are downhearted and expecting the worst.
This won't be easy. The Bills are a good team and we are pretty banged up at a lot of key spots.
With that said, it's the home opener. Division rival coming in. Not many giving us a chance. So I say let's go out there and prove a whole lot of people wrong!

Going to have to have a good game plan. This would be an excellent time for the defense to become the unit they, and we, expect them to be.Alex13 likes this. -

I will be at the first ever game in this new renovated stadium. I don't feel particularly good about this game but hopefully being at home will give this team a boost and pumped up. Maybe the defense and defensive line will play pissed off and be eager to show what they can do after failing to meet expectations show far.

We can beat them, I know it seems like we can't but these are the games we tend to really show up for. It's at home, we have a chance, limit the mistakes and fix them when they happen. We got this.

Game 3 and I'm ****ing dreading the 1st half of the game already. We better not start like the first 2 games, if we get behind this Bills team then there is no way the OL will give the protection needed to get back into the game.
1st game back in the refurbished stadium, cold weather team down in Miami in September, this needs to be a win. If the team starts flat again then we may be in for a long, long season.
I'm going for us to sneak it, it will probably be an ugly offensive game from both teams but we will do enough to sneak a 17-13 win. -

It's just too bad we don't have a Bill talkin' **** and guaranteeing a beatdown this year...then Lamar Miller juking his dumbass so hard he injured himself and had to leave the game while we went on to win! That was great stuff.

Home opener with a new stadium against a division opponent. If this team comes out flat today there will be no excuses what so ever. It would tell me these players don't believe in Philbin, plain and simple.

I'm guessing that's a reference to Suh.... Who knows, we may have something in Jordan Phillips... but he does have a very lazy side to him as well... Suh never got that label in college or the NFL.. easily one of the hardest working guys in the NFL... Got to keep Jordan hungry and I hope to see Oliver/Jordan/Suh/Wake on the field at the same time more often.. or maybe replace Oliver with Fede..

It's two games in with this being the third. Honestly even if we lose this game i'm not going to panic about it. I expect us to lose today, we aren't playing that well right now, but this is football and momentum switches throughout the season. When we are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention is when i'll throw in the towel. Until then it's a week by week process, it's next man up, and it's all in how bad these players want to compete. I personally think a better coaching staff could get a hell of a lot more out of the talent we have right now, but again....It's early and while we may lose today we might be looking back at this by week 17 with still a legitimate chance to make the playoffs. Anything can happen even at this point.... Joe Philbin is a dumbazz we know this, Kevin Coyle looks like a serial killer, we know this...But as long as they are here I am going to support them for the rest of the season.

A team with a good RB and a good defensive line is a horrible match up for the Dolphins.

Ugh.. Just sat down to watch the game. Made myself a strong rye and coke, ready for this game... now I find out it's not until 4:25... thanks Ross. :pity:
I had no idea it was a 430 game. Damnit!77FinFan, Phins Up Wins Up and SICK like this. -
There are a couple of optimistic angles to the game for me, I think with the 4 oclock start time, there will be a hell of a lot more people in their seats come game time, this team needs their fans to be in their seats come game time, you have a lil different dynamic to the energy inside with a couple thousand seats being moved closer, so what I mean is, if this was a 1 oclock game, in the old stadium, playing like were playing, I wuld expect a loss, but maybe some emotional and tangible things line up for us this week when it comes to the energy inside the building, which I think could be huge for this fragile team mindset.

Some stats on the effect of a new stadium to a team's subsequent record:
http://editions.lib.umn.edu/smartpolitics/2009/12/01/will-a-new-stadium-make-the-mi/
"Overall, these 22 NFL teams compiled a .462 winning percentage (747 wins, 869 losses, 22 ties) across the five respective years before their new stadiums were built. In the five seasons after the new stadiums opened, these teams notched a slightly better record, but only four games over .500. With 829 wins, 825 losses and 17 ties, the first five years brought these 22 franchises a collective winning percentage of just .501 in the first five years in their new respective facilities."
So there's a marginal effect on winning after a new stadium is built (at least it's positive, even if it's not much!)77FinFan likes this. -
