Interesting matchup, the Redskins can pass the ball well, we do not defend the pass well, we can run the ball well, the Redskins do not defend the run particularly well, ST is a toss up as Brandon Banks for DC is a stud returner, but overall their unit is not much better then ours.
Redskins are slumping, with a Qb controversy with Grossman taking half of the 1st team snaps this week along with John Beck,(edited to add, Rex Grossman will start for DC) they have averaged 10 pts ppg over their last couple of games, for us Reggie Bush has been on fire with 386 total yds and a 6 ypc avg along with Matt Moore who has 200 yds and 5 Td's/3 int's and 61% completions over his last 4 games

I added that into the column, Grossman is a better Qb then Beck, this is not good news per se.

If Miami can pound the ball and keep Washington's defense honest by committing 8 in the box, that should give Matt Moore plenty of opportunity to get some big plays down field.
The one stat that concerns me though is Washington's pass offense versus our pass defense. Miami's been giving up an average of 265 yards passing while the Redskins have been putting up 248.8 yards a game. Our secondary has been about as strong as wet toilet paper and with as weak as we have been, even the Redskins can burn us.

This was 'the' game that i had circled that we 'should' win. WAS has been terrible the last few weeks ... so we have just no excuse but to win this game, regardless of who is at QB.
If they play like they did last week against KC, no way they lose to the SKINS. Regardless of stats, the SKINS really do look really, really bad right now.

Phins begin their "Wild West" tour with Indians, followed by Buffalo Bill, and then the Cowboys. Some of the cavalry showed up last week, the rest comes to the rescue today, and "Marshall Matt" is looking good.

Problem with those volume stats is the week 9 team is different from the week #3 team, but the stats are all comingled.
