I have a hard time reading Omar but he could be right, until they can start a game strong I'm not confident in them in the least bit. Very inconsistent as a unit.

Someone needs to challenge Omar to a bet where if he is wrong he has to cut his dreds off and eat them.

I reckon he craps.on Tannehill...who might be deserving of it. Like it or not he's the leader of this offensive, he is just because he's the QB. If he plays well we will start strong cause our defense is THAT good. We won't need a lot points.

He hasn't said a word about my reply though.... Surprised he didn't block me and quote a bible verse that in no way shape or form has anything to do with the conversation.... Ya

I would love to see Dion Jordan have a coming out party on MNF against the Saints and Drew Brees. We should be able to stop their run, this is when that 3rd overall puck needs to show up. They can force 1-1 on the DEs.
There are so many variations we can throw on the field to get pressure. -

Backs up nothing, just points and complains.
Then Blo-mar offers no solution because he doesn't know anything of value.
Repeats problems again because he already forgot he mentioned them 34,291 times.

Ya, you guys are right. This Dolphin offense is a well oiled machine. Ya man, a machine! Rah! Rah!
Anyone who says the Dolphins ain't great at everything is stupid and we gotta ridicule them.
And nobody can call us delusional homers because this offense is the real thing. We got Wallace man, he's fast. His'nBeatYour'n likes this. -

A lot of people on here don't like Kelly, so they naturally feel his insights are BS. Unfortunately he appears correct is his assessment of the Dolphins offense at this time.
While Miller and Thomas are competing for the starting job at this time, neither of them are playing at a high level. In fact I feel both of them are a major drop down from Reggie Bush. Perhaps one of them will prove to be a capable NFL RB this year, but right now this position is definitely a huge question mark with the regular season starting in just a little over two weeks.
The offensive line does continue to remain an area of concern. Martin has played better at LT then many of us thought he would, but will his play remain effective once the regular season begins? The right side of the offensive line, especially RG remains a mess. The fact so many people are hoping a very average John Jerry, is able to play the position this year, just shows how weak this position really is. Clabo is known more for his ability to run block than his ability to pass block. This unit right now has to be considered the biggest area of concern heading into the season.
With the loss of Keller, the TE position should also be considered an area of concern. Clay and Egnew are below average TE"s in the NFL and we really don't know how Sims will develop once the regular season starts. Keller was going to be Tannehill's safety valve and possibly would have been the leading pass receiver during the season. I just don't see any of the TE's now on the roster being able to fill Keller shoes.
While the WR position has been upgraded from last year, Tannehill may have difficulty getting the ball to his wide receivers if the offensive line doesn't improve it's pass blocking. A lot will be learned about this offense when they play the Browns in two and a half weeks. The Browns have one of the top defensive lines in all of the NFL. If the Dolphins offense can go into Cleveland and move the ball and score consistently against the Browns, a lot of these concerns may be put to rest. If on the other hand the offense has trouble gaining yards and scoring points in the game, it may turn out to be a long season for this team again.
I guess we will all get a clearer picture where the offense is headed in a couple of weeks.72 Dolphins, Aquafin and smahtaz like this. -
In roughly 4 qtrs of play Ryan Tannehill has 2 TDs 0 Ints, approx. 240 yds passing, and a QBR of roughly 104. Yeah, the offense is in complete dissaray.
Not saying there is still some big questions for the unit and some inconsistencies. But a mess? I think not.Ducken, Tin Indian, Wyvern_Bob and 18 others like this. -
To me, it just reads as if he works to puke out the easiest articles to get something in, rather than actually investigate and report.
I get much more out of the regulars here than I ever get from him.SICK likes this. -

Omar is a sad sack for sure. Sad thing is, he's probably right. This offense has sucked since Pennington. Until Tannehill can prove he's a legit NFL QB it will continue to suck. All those weaknesses Omar mentions are real, but an elite NFL QB is a great big band-aid for problems like those.
-
I remember one year that wasn't too long ago that the Dolphins didn't score a touchdown until the fourth off-season.
So far the starting offense has scored three.
There has been enough to expect the offense will be at least middle of the road -
He's being a bit overdramatic. Some of those issues should be mitigated with time. Some are valid and cause for concern.

The over-analyzing of preseason continues. The offense has not been great, but they've been far, far from a mess. Someone already pointed out Tannehill's passer rating. What exactly are we complaining about? Preseason is for getting everyone comfortable with one another and gelling together as a unit while getting reps in during a live game situation. I saw the offense put together a couple of strong drives in Houston 4 days ago. I'll be worried if we can't move the ball once September 8th rolls around, until then, I'm not worrying.

Okay, okay, okay, guys, I clicked it just to see what it said. A video started, and within the first minute, Omar used the term "Bubble Boy" referencing Dion Jordan's being the practice bubble for his rehab. I closed the window after that.
Mind you, as this video is going on, there's a video of Mike Wallace catching that bomb from the Texans game the other night on the side of the screen.
