Was Philbin inserting Moreno who has been out a month basically in thrown into the lead back role in the first half.
Not only did it hurt our football team, but it was a slap in the face to a RB who has been playing at a very high level when given the opportunity.
Just another reason this staff is failing. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

He ran okay, probably not 100%, didn't expect that though. Miller ran hard again though, and should've had more chances in the first half, and should've been in on the drive they decided not to take the 3 points. Moreno got the ball on all 3 runs right? Coming off an injury that was probably not the best decision to go with.

What do our idiotic coaches call? Runs up the gut, twice. We get two yards and give the ball back, gift-wrapped, to the best QB in the business. Great thinking, coaching staff. -
I can only assume that Philbin saw that we were running the ball effectively on the previous couple of drives and assumed we could do it again. The difference is that the opposing defense knows damn well you're going to try to run the ball, so instead of taking what the defense gives you, he makes that stupid 3rd and 9 call. If you pass and miss on 3rd and 9, they get the ball back with ~ 3 minutes, not that different than the extra run play. You make that first down by passing, we have a much better chance to win that game yesterday.

Lamar should've gotten more than 3 1st half carries, and he showed he can find the end zone in GL situations....just ridiculous the way they handled him yesterday in the 1st half

That nine yard loss is inexcusable. No decent RB does that. I felt he played fairly well other than that, including holding onto the ball, but he had a couple of decent runs up the middle and it sure would be nice if he could make somebody miss. Even miss a little.

It didn't make sense to me. Miami's runningbacks were doing an adequate job. There was no reason to not wait until Moreno was 100%
