Word out of Titletown is the Packers are ready to switch from a 3-4 defense to a 4-3 alignment.
New Packers GM PSG has always preferred the 4-3 and feels the pieces are "mostly" in place for the switch.
One of those pieces that might not fit is LB Clay Matthews, who is more suited to play in a 3-4. It may not be out of the question to think the Packers could look to make a big splash and trade Mathews for a couple pieces that better fit the change.
If the Packers do decide to deal Matthews, there won't be a shortage of teams looking to acquire his services.
