The dude is party central and I would love to have seen him in aqua & orange. If he starts having issues they will roast him and put him in chowdah....

A former player said of Belichek that he is like a vampire that sucks all the football life you have to give a then throws you aside. That is a coaches job. Walker has little blood let to give.

Welker does not deserve that kind of contract. He's a very good receiver, he's not elite. No GM in this league would pick Welker instead of any of the elite WRs. not even sure how many would take Welker over Bowe as their #1 WR. Whereas Gronk is elite, has very little competition, maybe Jimmy Graham. If Gates was healthy, he'd be the 3rd. of course Gonzo still lingering in that class. There's just not as big a market for a Welker IMO.

ohhhhh wait.....so what does the BEST TIGHT END IN FOOTBALL do?? 2 years from being the highest paid tight ever in the NFL....

    yup...thats right..HOMETOWN DISCOUNT.....

amazing....Miami would have to have given Gronk an ownership stake in the team to get him to extend, but he agrees to get only 13M guaranteed for 6 years with the Pats....

Oh, quit your belly-aching. He's an injury waiting to happen. He knows that, so he took the guaranteed money early. And he's not the best TE in football. He's damn good though.

He's in the discussion, of course. He's not better than Jimmy Graham.

Oh but he is. Graham can't block like Gronkowski can. On top of that Gronkowski is a more productive pass catcher.

If a TE's only job was to catch passes, you could maybe make that argument, although I'd still disagree. But Gronk is just on an entirely different level when you account for his elite blocking skills.

I wonder if he will stay elite now with the big paychecks? He seems to enjoy the party life a bit to much. This one will be interesting to watch for the next 3 years. The guy has been a stud even hurt he still helped the team.

Having that trio of WRs more than made up for that. And ofcourse a DL that makes Brady piss his panties.
