I think he made strides with BMarsh as a teammate. I really think he saw what was possible for him.

Cam played in the 4-3 at DE for 2 yrs in Canada.

Wallace had a really big play somewhere down the stretch I think. It's no wonder he ended up standing out.
FWIW the guy that's with Peter King is Neil Hornsby of Pro Football Focus, and he talked about the QBs and agreed that David Garrard seems way, way ahead of the other QBs. He said that these are the most drops they've seen, though he couldn't be sure if that was the result of the Dolphins being in pads and doing live tackling, whereas everyone else they've seen were in shells with not as much physical contact. -
Either way drops are alarming....very alarming.
-
Where Peter King focused on Davone Bess and gave a casual mention to Roberto Wallace, I think Hornsby focused mostly on Wallace as being the most impressive of the day.

Then when I got it I was like, "oh yeahhhh, you mean that guy who was on our team last year and the year before.". lol.PhinsRock, MrClean, Rocky Raccoon and 1 other person like this. -
Reiterated that Garrard seems more comfortably, playing athletically, very accurate, picking the right receiver, and "this is a guy who has this offense". Gut instinct is Garrard starts.
I disagreed with him saying the 4-3 might be worse for Wake because he won't run as free, and will have more linemen to deal with. Anyone who has watched a lot of Wake knows that his best asset is his initial accelration *when his hand is in the dirt*. Lining up at end emphasizes that advantage more than when he had to drop as a linebacker at times last year, or stand up at the snap.
Decent visit by King, but nothing spectacular or surprising. -

Kraken is a badass dragster, not so much as a blitzer standing up b/c he lacks the hips to fool anyone imo. -
Release the Kraken!

You beat me to it... LOL!

Wake has always been best on the left side. I don't think it has as much to do with going against the RT instead of the LT as it just seems to be more natural to him. He did do a lot more work from the right side last year and seems to be getting better at it.
