I am really wary of the Saints and can see them making a deep run.
The fact that they signed Shaun Rogers and Aubrayo Franklin has been underplayed. PFF rated them as the number 1 Pass and number 1 Run DT over the past 3 years respectively, I believe. -
I think it underscores just how important that position is. Championship caliber defense. Good receiving corps and some speed elsewhere. If the other spots are average, a guy like Brady could win a championship. Granted, that's a Hall of Famer. But insert, say.....Josh Freeman. We're probably ranked in the Top 10 on that list.
Again, not debating Henne. Just how we'd be viewed and the level of expectation that would come with a certain level of QB play. -

I hate that we are ranked 20th. How the hell are the Texans 9th? The Texans are everyone's Cinderella every year and when the clock strikes midnight they become frogs again. Why would this year be any different? It wont be. Ill take our defense and mediocre offense over their crappy defense (crappy aside from Ryans/Williams/Steroidhead Cushing) and good offense.
I think a lot of people are underestimating our team. Haters gonna hate.... -

At this point, it is difficult to argue our rank. -

I hope fans don't want Henne to fail. But he is right in the sense that it's comforting to know that IF he does fail, we know we have to move on.
