We have the 12th pic in the first round of the 2013 draft
The Kansas City Chiefs have the first pic
The Kansas City Chiefs need a QB
We have Matt Moore
Is it out of the realm of possibilities that we could swap #1's with KC by throwing in Matt Moore on a trade.
If it is, what could or would we do with the #1 pic?
This should be interesting, because the possibilities are endless. Curious what everyone thinks.
Personally I don't know if I would do it, so please educate me as to who would be worth it.

IF this happens, and it is a huge if, I would trade back to #4 pick up a few more picks and get Dee Milliner

Let's just say for a second that the Dolphins still had Moore under contract (which they don't). The difference in value between the 12th pick and the 1st is HUGE. We're talking more than another 1st round pick. No one in their right mind is trading anything close to a 1st round pick for Matt Moore.

Perhaps we should place the franchise tag on Moore and then try to trade him to KC for the #1 pick...:wink2:

Never said Andy Reid had a right mind, after all he had Michael Vick as his QB. :tongue2: Did not know Moore's contract was up. I thought he had one more year. Well crap that's more cap money gone if we want a great backup. Guess we are back to talking about how bad Ireland is or isn't and weather Tanne is a franchise Qb (sigh)

Jarvis Jones is worth it...

No, Andy Reid is the new KC coach and he is not swapping the number one pick for Moore

I didn't value Matt Moore at anything. I recognize, new coach, need for QB. Nothing more. If the difference from 12 to 1 is that high then obviously this is a moot point. I just thought we might could make a big splash. The QB class this year is not very good. Not sure who would if it was doable would be worthy of a #1 pick. Just our luck it would be a Left Tackle......:shifty:

I hear they like doing that sort of thing.
Personaly I dont think they are gonna find anyone better then they already have in Cassle this year. Is he still under contract or is he a FA also? -
This is an interesting thing for KC. Who is the overall #1 this year, and will there be some moves this year like last? I guess the intrigue of the OP's concept is there, but seems to be only intrigued by the concept of a trade.
Who would you pick 2socks with the #1 overall, jw? -

wow. I almost fell out of my chair with that one. (I mean the sig) Man it's hard to concentrate. I did watch the game and was pissed we lost. close game. Wasn't impressed with Kolb though. Maybe I am confusing every other QB that was out there that others were drooling over. As far as the offensive tackles, maybe we could trade them Long. We could def use the extra 10/11 mill in cap space and draft a left tackle in the 2nd

Yeah teams all over the league are saying, "Matt Moore is the answer to our QB problem."
Where's lmeister with the "cocaine is a helluva drug" pic?
Don't get me wrong, I like Matt Moore and he'll continue to be a great backup somewhere. But any GM ready to hitch his star to Matt Moore as a starter is going to be out of a job really quick.PhinsRDbest likes this. -

Not sure if serious?
Matt Moore isn't worth moving up one position in the draft let alone #1 overall. Lol. -
