The 1972 Miami Dolphins will stand alone as the only PERFECT team for at least another year.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for the 72 team and the fans lucky enough to have watched them; it's an accomplishment that all Dolphin fans should be proud of. Personally speaking, it's just harder for me to care as a fan born 13 years after the fact when our current situation has been... difficult. If we were 7-2 it'd be a lot easier to be excited about it, though I don't hate the 72 team or anyone that celebrates them. -

Missing the point is when any current fan is being mad at the reference to '72 because the current squad is laying eggs for the present or future of this franchise. Whether this current squad returns to glory or not, so be it, its not the '72 squad fault, but it is a great legacy for this franchise.
Congrats to the perfect '72 squad....the benchmark for every franchise as well as our current squad to measure against!:up:Ozzy and CashInFist like this. -

This ole record is all we have lately. I was never threatened by the Falcons, but happy none the less. Still population 1.

As much as I love the 72 team it's hard to get exited about preservation of perfect season after the debacle of a football game played today.
