This one's on Flores/coaches IMO. On to New York!

Tua was obviously benched because he played poorly today and the team had a chance to tie the game at the end. Otherwise he would've been benched in a very similar situation against Arizona, when he engineered a 10-play, 93-yard TD drive during which he played nearly perfectly and the team tied the game on his TD pass.
The difference? He'd played well previously that game.Bumrush likes this. -
It's not magic that when Fitz came in the offense looked competent. We didnt suddenly get a better play caller, we just had a competent veteran QB under center. -

"This game comes down to two or three critical plays," Flores said. "Hopefully we learn from it. There were other plays we didn't make. Dropped balls, from a protection standpoint, it looked like we came clean on a punt block and didn't make that one either. We have to take advantage of our opportunities."
"The Broncos came into the game with the sixth-best third down defense (38.1 percent), second-best red zone defense (50 percent touchdown allowed rate) in the league. They were 12th in sacks with 22. The latter stat was the story of the day.
"It's a good defense," Flores said. "Vic Fangio has one of the top defensive lines in the league. They have good players, they have a good scheme. They pressured us, they mixed the coverages, we didn't execute. We have to play better.""Last edited: Nov 22, 2020 -
Who the hell is Brandon Howard?

Benching Tua for non injury boggles my mind. Take the L and move on. Either you are all in or you shouldn’t have made him the starter earlier in the season. I like this coaching staff and admit my armchair position has no credibility but wtf?

Again I'll say that while I do think Fitz is the better QB right now, going back to Tua is the right choice if you believe hes the future. I'm not sold on that myself but I can understand the thought process.
He wasnt seeing the field well enough and I think they wanted him to see it from another angle and get ready for next week. -
I liked in the press conference that Fitz said it was his own fault for not looking off the safety long enough....to me it seemed like he never even looked Jakeem's way. Like he said, that millisecond was the difference between a win and a loss.

If he runs through the defender MAYBE he gets a PI though.
Grant definitely didnt play it very well but I also wouldnt call it catchable.
