Big Jake is handling all things Oline during the lockout so no worries.
As an aside, Jake Long has to be the quietest player I've ever seen on the Dolphins, as a #1 overall pick you just never hear anything from the man other than saying "Henne still has the locker room"...that is about it. -
Quiet toughness IMO.
He's leading offseason workouts. He's curt with the media. He's giving orders about what and what not to talk about. And you see Pouncy already falling in line.
Big Jake seems to be taking on a leadership role this offseason. And it's a bonus when the best, most physically dominating player on the team is that guy.

Considering Mike knew to wait for word from Jake, means either someone else told him whats up, or Jake himself (i am guessing this one) contacted him, welcomed him, and told him the deal.

Ummmm.... why is nobbody else thinking what I am thinking? Who did we pick Pouncey for? Once the free agency and trades are re initiated, who are we trading Pouncey for? Looks to me like the Dolphins did a wink and nod with another team to draft Pouncey and trade him after the fact. I am sorry but that is the only thing that makes sense when you draft a guy that needs to learn 2 different positions without a playbook......

I forgot to add, Jake Long cuts down the tree's with the end of his hand (like hendrix) then while sweating during workouts, his sweat immedatley grows red wood trees. He is pretty much scientifically responsible for us having oxygen.DolfanJake and unluckyluciano like this.

Bull crap, there were plenty of teams that did not hand out playbooks to anyone. St. Louis has a new OC and they handed out nothing to no one either. Complete BS Pouncey was the only one. The title of this thread should be changed. I have been warned about posting far less important crap then how the lead sentence of this post reads.
