Still a 1 score game. Again... not saying Tua is trash, but that's back to back drives now he's missed two easy first down pickups with poor throws. It's now still a one score game as a result. Quote total pass yards all you want, I don't care. You can't miss those easy throws in a close game like this when you're playing down to your opponents level.
Surprisingly conservative on fourth and 1 especially since we have been bullying them on the line of scrimmage but i cant hate the decision.. other than risking a jason sanders miss from 51.. We are up a touchdown.. raiders probably feel bailed out here
I agree, between the 4th and 1's we go for and our efficiency in the red zone, our field goal kicker doesn't get much work. It has to be mentally tough when you get to take weeks off other than extra points.
That cracraft missed touchdown though.. im sure cracraft was option 5 to look at but that was too easy.. a gift
Someone made a comment on being too reliant on hill. I think that’s true to a destructive level. Everything is designed for him that Tua doesn’t even look at other guys.
We've shot ourselves in the foot alot today whether it's penalties, turnovers, missed throws/drops. The way the offense has been moving the ball this game should be a long over blowout. But we've let them hang in there with our own incompetence. Bye week hangover apparently.
To be fair, the defender was already falling down and our guy tripped over his feet, and put a hand to his back to avoid falling himself. Silly penalty since it clearly wasn't a "block to the back".
Awful on first and second down again... Screen on third down now... and ahmed almost fumbles. Terrible playcalling and execution in a 1 score game in your own end.
I think in that context, while punching at the ball it's not an issue. Any other setting probably an issue.
Seems like every game we talk about how **** our punter is.. what the hell? there are literal free agent punters lookong for a job that can do better.. bring in Araiza
