So the MRI didn’t show the extent of the tear; they won’t know how bad it is until surgery. If it’s only a partial tear, he could be back in September:
Surgery is today, so keep your fingers crossed.
Of course, it was the more serious of the two outcomes, so he’s out until December.
Knowing Miami’s luck, is anyone surprised?

Miami's odds in the division, conference or Super Bowl haven't changed. You know why? The only reason the Dolphins will win a Superbowl is if Tua plays 19-20 games. Ramsey is a luxury and something tells me will be back sooner than that December timeline. The front seven is stacked and will make the secondary's job easier.

Nobody is whining - we were discussing a major injury to a key player on a message board dedicated to the team.
PS. I’ve been a Dolphins fan for 49 years. Don’t tell me what kind of “mentality” I have.
I think that this is prime example of the benefits of drafting best player available. On draft day, it was difficult to have a short term vision with Cam Smith. Now, he has a real chance of making an early impact on the team.
Prior to the Ramsey injury, I have heard that he really looks the part.
Obviously, the Ramsey injury hurts, but on a side note, we will get better at a time when many teams will be getting worse.

Howard- looked terrible last season.
Smith- rookie 2nd round pick. I’m optimistic, But we’ve seen many 1st round DB’s get eaten alive as rookies in NFL.
Kahou- Undrafted small school player. Showed some raw promise. Also committed pass interference at a shocking rate.
Needham- Coming back from Achilles tear. Maybe worst injury for a skill position NFL player to fully recover from. And still on PUP.
Trill Williams- Had a couple nice camp practices. But ultimately an undrafted nobody. (And of course injured)
Crossen - Inconsistent. Not much of an answer to get high volume snaps.
Noah I - special teams Gunner
Bethel - special teams gunner.

That’s awesome. He could be away from the team, rehabbing - instead, he’s on the field helping out. That’s what it means to be a good teammate.
I wouldn’t bet against him coming back early.
