1 - "The Miami Dolphins became the first team since at least 1940 to score four offensive touchdowns of at least 50 yards in a half, and they beat the Houston Texans 44-26 Sunday. Miami's four long scores in the first half were the most in at least 75 years, according to STATS."
2 - "Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill set the NFL record with 25 consecutive completions in Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. The record included Tannehill’s 18-straight completions he had against the Texans, in addition to seven from Week 6’s game against the TennesseeTitans. The quarterback’s streak ended two plays after he set the record, as tight end Dion Sims was unable to catch an intended pass.
The previous record was held by Donovan McNabb when completed 24 passes in a row with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004.
Miami won the game 44–26 and Tannehill finished 18-for-19 with 282 yards and four touchdowns."
Any more?

Blowout win....starters got a ton of rest on a short week. You honestly couldn't ask for a better result.

Hmm, wonder if "good" Tannehill is more like Pennington or Griese then Marino?dolphin25, Brasfin, CitizenSnips and 1 other person like this. -

Can't say he's more like Pennington, 'cuz he has arm strength, and I never watched Griese play really, so I can't speak to that.
Either way, I'll take today all day every day...the incompletion to Sims may have been his worst pass on the day, and it was highly catchable...just looking for him to work on those sacks.rafael, P h i N s A N i T y, Aqua4Ever04 and 2 others like this. -

Has any Dolphins QB ever had a 158.3 rating and/or a 94.7% completion percentage?
-
Pennington though, was just an efficient Qb who knew how to lead an offense, Griese was at first, then blew up into a rare mix of accuracy and high production -

Smart Qb, Danny M, loved his game, could not run a bit. Griese/Pennington..could move, were efficient.
THills flaw imo is the leader of men portion. Campbell mention Moreno setting a tone, what THill should internalize is that was directed at him as well..gotta fire the squad upjason8er likes this. -
For the 94.7% completion percentage, that almost has to be an NFL record for a game with 15+ throws.jason8er likes this. -
CBS stats says Tannehill would have set NFL record for Completion Percentage if he would have attempted 1 more pass (20th), and if completed (19th) he would have set that record too. -

The only Dolphins QB to ever have a perfect passer rating before Tannehill was Griese against the Patriots. The QB to have the most games with perfect passer rating is Peyton Manning with 4.
EDIT: lol.. check out this list of QB's with a "perfect" passer rating of zero: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NFL_quarterbacks_who_have_posted_a_passer_rating_of_zero
Bob Griese is on both lists! haharafael and PhinFan1968 like this. -
Franchise record for first half points.
you're welcome -
I know this isn't a record, but it's something worth noting:
As of right now, we have the number one running offense in the league in terms of yards per carry. 5.3 YPC.
In second place come the St. Louis Rams with 5.0, which is a pretty big dropoff.dolphin25 likes this. -

Heres a record for you. Biggest hard on I've ever had for a new coach!

Fastest I've ever stopped watching due to garbage time. Right after D Williams fumbled, early third.
I've never seen such a dominant half in my lifetime. Only thing that comes close was the Buffalo/Houston playoff game back in the day when Houston were Oilers...and the refs stopped us on our last drive of the halfPuka-head likes this. -

Speaking of that fumble, Williams actually started to look like something in this game, besides that fumble of course, but he actually tried something when he got to the line, he's been a deer in the headlights so far, but I saw some signs of life from the kid, he is probably the best physical specimen we have at RB, the best size, speed, power and quickness combo, so it would be real nice if he started to get it.
