"Although we are capable of great acts of kindness, history teaches us that we sometimes need saving from ourselves – from our recklessness or our greed. God sent into the world a unique person – neither a philosopher nor a general, important though they are, but a Saviour, with the power to forgive... It is my prayer that on this Christmas day we might all find room in our lives for the message of the angels and for the love of God through Christ our Lord." (Christmas message, 2011)
Dol-Fan DupreeForum VeteranAfter the end of the 2019 season, Mr. Ross began to pressure Mr. Flores to recruit a prominent quarterback in violation of League tampering rules. Mr. Flores repeatedly refused to comply with these improper directives. Undeterred, in the winter of 2020, Mr. Ross invited Mr. Flores onto a yacht for lunch. Shortly after he arrived, Mr. Ross told Mr. Flores that the prominent quarterback was “conveniently” arriving at the marina. Obviously, Mr. Ross had attempted to “set up” a purportedly impromptu meeting between Mr. Flores and the prominent quarterback. Mr. Flores refused the meeting and left the yacht immediately. After the incident, Mr. Flores was treated with disdain and held out as someone who was noncompliant and difficult to work with
Is this Brady?
Holland is a huge upgrade over McCain

If Ross offered to pay Flores to lose, I have a lot more respect for Ross. At least he understands you have to tear stuff down sometimes before building a winner. We could've had Burrow.. think about it.
Awesome news though! Something interesting to follow throughout the offseason.

Is it really a shock that the core of the Dolphins problems wasn't Flores or Grier its Stephen Ross?
What kind of coach are we gonna get with all of this garbage going on. Harbaugh isn’t joining this drama.
Vinny FinsForum VeteranIf Flores brings down Ross he goes into the ring of honor

I don’t understand this sentiment at all.
GalantForum VeteranIf Flores is submitting this legally it completely flips the narrative about the Dolphins, and IMO, this sounds a lot more plausible than the idea that it turns out Flores was an absolutely psycho.
Anyone have any idea what potential repercussions this could have for Ross?
Breaking tampering rules.
Paying for losses.
Slander.

Ross potentially embarassing the NFL so the owners force him to sell

Is there precedent? I've never heard of an owner being forced out.

GalantForum VeteranQuite honestly...that sounds like Brian Flores.
I'm inclined to believe Ross and co are the villains here. And honestly. If that's true. I'll be done with the Dolphins 100% until Ross is gone.
