Cam most of be hanging out with Ricky after the game. The tought of hiring Irelandm, I like. The Cowboys have had some solid drafts in the past and Miami's Drafts and scouting has not been the best the last time I checked.

 

I liked what Cam was doing with our offense before Ronnie Brown went down, and I want to see him get another chance after another draft of new talent. I also don't really understand why Mueller is getting the shove, I think we are too impatient.

Even if by some miracle Bill Parcells decides not to fire Cameron, there's no way that Cameron knew it at any point on Sunday. Unless, of course, Parcells lied to Cameron in order to loosen him up.

Either way, the Cameron termination watch is officially on.

 

To credit PFT, it is called a rumour mill.

 

Guys you really need to stop knocking PFT they are pretty credible, sometimes like all sites they have the occasional bullcrap rumor, but most of the stuff that happens in the league is reported by PFT, some of you really need to lay off them and give PFT some credit. Plus, they dont even believe the rumor of Cam staying.

 

Time will tell. Personally I think the jury is still out on Mueller. It is near impossible to fully judge a GM off one year. But I do think that 1-15 speaks volumes about Cam's coaching abilities.

With that said, this is Bill's team now. If he isn't comfortable working with Mueller, or if he already has a low opinion of him from Mueller's years in New Orleans, then I understand.

Though it would really shock me if Cam stayed and Randy was fired. I'm 99% sure both will be gone before 2008.

i agree, after watching randy's rooks today, samson,loBook, beck,and ginn and him being in his first year it would be pretty shocking if randy gets fired at all

 

I wouldn't see why not. At least if PFT has their facts straight. Ireland wouldn't be a necessary asset for Dallas through the playoffs in the same way that a coach would. The only hold up will be adhering to the Rooney rule and interviewing a minority candidate before giving the keys to Ireland.

 

I'm not disputing that. He may have been. I'm simply offering my opinion that I don't see evidence that Mueller deserves to fired for his performance this year. But if Bill wants to fire him for his own reasons, that is fine with me.

 

If Cameron told the team that, I wonder if he already talked to Parcells about it. Maybe Parcells told him that he is likely going to come back next season.

 

And he really struck out on Satale, Mauia, and LoBook right? The jury is still out on Beck and Ginn. This could possibly be one of the better drafts in Miami's history.

Yes, I can see Cam back next year as OC, but not HC. Cam will go from HC to unemployed to OC. Don't think Parcell is that stupid. Sarano will hopefully be HC.

 

I doubt it. I think Cameron will stay out of coaching for a year to eat the contract he is still guaranteed to.
