Hey lets be clear, I said either in TC or Preseason (meaning decided by the end of preseason.) Yes it will be a live competition, and Teddy can do everything Tua can do (probably more.)
If I'm wrong I will eat that crow, but if i'm going to "call it." I would say, expect the unexpected with the Lolphins, but I don't think it's as "wild" of a scenario as some of you think.
You think it's "wild" to Teddy? Look at some of his interviews. He doesn't seem like a QB who is content with being a backup to Tua Tagovailoa. He's a QB who still wants to prove himself (like Tua.) To me this is great, because competition will make the weaker one melt under the pressure. Lets just hope they both don't melt.

Edit, with Tyreek trade, I went a little higher. We'll take the AFC East outright, but will probably still split w/ Buffalo in the regular season. I think by playoff time though, we're going to be thumping and making other teams look stupid. It is officially Miami's year folks...we're making a run!

What a difference a few months makes. April there are fans calling for Teddy over Tua, by September we had fans calling for Teddy to be cut/traded for Sklyar

So... I was wrong. I'm happy to be wrong though. At the very least Miami's offense is fun to watch, have no idea how this projects into the playoffs, never seen a team that has an great chance of beating anyone in the league and yet losing to anyone seems almost as likely.
