We will be performing a major upgrade to address some of the feature issues we've had with the board of late and will be taking the site down this Friday, November 18th starting at 9:00 PM EST.
I expect roughly 3-4 hours of downtime, but that may extend into the early morning hours if we run into any major issues.
We will provide status updates via the site's Twitter and Facebook accounts in the event we do end up needing more time.

Thanks for all the hard work. I'm more of a lurker than a regular poster, but checking the boards is a daily commute activity and I really appreciate all the work that goes into keeping the site up and running and keeping the quality high.

So, oddly I can now no longer view threads using Tapatalk. Worked fine this morning after the upgrade - I even posted in this very thread.
I don't think my Tapatalk has been updated today. Anything else that might have changed?
In Tapatalk, I can browse the forum lists and the timeline but whenever I try to open a thread it hangs for a few seconds and then crashes.
I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S7 if that matters. -
Yeah, really weird. old username simply can't do anything. everything I do, I get the message that I don't have permission.
New username functions just fine. -
Only thing that I can think of is that we set things up so that if you had a bookmark or something that followed the old forum structure, you'd get re-directed to the new way the URL is constructed now. I'll fire up my tapatalk and check it out to see if I can figure out what the issue is.Oghma likes this.

Agree with Rick... anyway to get the "old" look and feel back, or at least have some options to choose from? I notice we're no longer using vBulletin.

New theme is a welcome improvement IMHO.
I know 3pmi is working on some alternate theme choices. Hopefully everyone will find an option they like.3Pmi likes this.
