This season has been done a couple of games back henne is clearly not the qb for the future so give thigpen some starts and make the games worth watching. henne has had way to many chances to prove himself and has failed everytime lets move on start thigpen and lets see what he has.

Dude did you watch a couple of weeks ago when Thigpen started it was a meagadisaster. Let Henne finish and let the new coaching staff that will be coming in after Sparano gets fired go shopping by trade or the draft. Henne becomes trade bait and his value will not depreciate if he finishes the season healthy.

the kids first game and against a bears defense the destroyed our offensive line. Henne hasnt won a game for us yet its always defense that seals our game henne hasnt had a 2 minute drive to win the game and is horrible in the red zone. You gotta open your eyes and realize that henne is a bust

We have been through all of this before.
Another benching of Henne would do nothing but once again reinforce the stupidity of this staff.DolfanJake, dolfan7171, and 1 other person like this. -

might work. makes sense.
certainly couldn't do worse & we've got nothing to lose @ this point in the season.
might learn something more about Thigpen, although it really doesn't much matter.
they know what they pretty much need to know about Dolphin QB'scobrajet likes this. -
Start Thigpen??!
More like start looking at draft QBs!!!!DolfanJake, the 23rd, Stitches and 1 other person like this. -
Like it or not, Henne is our QB for the rest of this season, and likely next. He'll have time to either work through this, or lose the job to the next guy, whoever it may be. I like Thigpen as a b/u, but not a starter. Waaaaay too inconsistant to me, even moreso than Henne. Exciting? Sure, but in small doses.Colorado Dolfan and The G Man like this. -

IMO, the last four games are critical in evaluating Henne. And, if I'm the HC, I'd even go so far as to tell him as much. I'd say "look Chad, we haven't seen as much improvement in the areas that we've discussed. We'd really like to see you focus on improving in those areas these last four games. We want to win, but more importantly we want to see you take that next big step in your development. That said, if we feel you're not getting there, that you're just not getting it done, well...we may have to go in a different direction in the off season. It's all up to you son. Show me what you got."

Henne may luck out in this situation and end up getting more time to improve than he otherwise would be granted. But he really does have to show us something in these last four games, eh! Hopefully, he doesn't blow it.
I think the truth is, Henne lover or Hater, the best thing that could happen for us fans is for Henne to suddenly put it all together and become a good quarterback. It's the quickest way for us to solve the position, because if it isn't him, we may be sitting here in 2013-2014, still looking for the answer.DolfanJake likes this. -
Thigpen is a FA after this season, and we have showed 0 interest in re-signing him. Absolutely silly to start him.
For better, or worse, I want to see Henne play every play from now to the end of the season. Have to be Frakin Nuts not to.gafinfan likes this. -

Taking shots is easy. Wanting someone better is easy. Finding a better AVAILABLE option is a different story. -

let henne finish the season thats ******ed why start your 3rd stringer when we MIGHT have a SMALL chance at the playoffs im not saying henne well get us there but he gives us a better chance -
do you really think the jets pats ravens steelers are going to loose 4 straight and were going to win the next four c'mon man theres teams like the jets ravens in the outside looking in im a diehard phin fan but we gotta but realistic to say we could have had a chance if we would beat a team like the browns but everyones boy henne had 3 picks
-
Dude, no offense but I would rather see Ronnie run the Wildcat for the last 4 games before I ever want to see Tyler "3 and out" Thigpen start again.
-
my dude i rather see any one but henne out there put in ronnie ricky and marshall at qb let them take turns lol
-
I still think you've gotta dance with who you brought and Sparano is in it with Henning and Henne for the duration. I mean the guys knee is f'd up and he still wants to be in there. He may be a robot back there, but at least he's not a deer in the headlights like Thigpen was.

I knew a little boy once, a cowardly little runt, that ran his mouth in the most profound & unwarranted ways as he hid behind his big brother. the big brother grew up but the kid unfortunately did not. today you can find this little troll on any dolphin forum on any given day. the little guy continues to make himself feel big by attacking, slandering, bad-mouthing & insulting others, this time, hiding behind the anonymity of the internet & a big cigar. nothing more annoying than a small mind with a bad attitude aspiring to be an internet bully.
man up & give it a break, no one is interested in this mindless banter. this is a dolphin forum not the View.
post often; post well. post appropriately & never forget the ignore button. -

I just came home buzzed and realize this is a dumb thread.

I hate using the Ignore feature on forums...and I haven't put anyone on ignore on any of the many forums I use. I am so close to putting this 23rd joker on ignore, though, it's not even funny.
Spewing out the same tired stuff all the time, using crazy colors, is pretty much unbearable. -

Ah why the hell not. Throw the kid Thigpen in there for the first quarter, let Henne play the second quarter, run nothing but Wildcat in the third quarter and only kick and punt in the fourth quarter.

Yeah, great idea. That worked out so well for us against the bears

As long as old man Henning has his finger on the button it doesn't matter who we start at QB.
-
We've all been wanting something better since 2000 ..... how we makin' out on that!
Finding a good/great QB in this league is not easy. It's something we've all learned the hard way.
