Here's the order. I find it a little funny that the rookie GM got the first pick, but that's how this works .
1. Vendigo - Miami
2. Stitches - Carolina
3. GridIronKing34 - Indianapolis
4. Fin-Omenal - St. Louis
5. alen1 - Minnesota
6. Nappy Roots - Seattle
7. GISH - Arizona
8. Skull Destroyer - Jacksonville
And for Paul 13, here's your screenshot. Now you know I like Fantasy Football, thePhins, and Facebook. And that I am in the Central Time Zone.
Available Teams:
Arizona Cardinals
Jacksonville Jaguars
Seattle Seahawks

Err, I noticed an issue.
VO threw his hat into the ring (twice in fact)

and he wasn't part of your list.
Seeing as Ven already picked before I noticed the error, I don't think it'd be fair to penalize him (and redo it all). If VO still wants in and a complete redo is off the table, maybe have random run a random integer generator from 2-16 and where he "rolls" he slots in? -
With only being an Electrical, and thus having advantages over only Water and Flying, but weak to Grass, Ground, Dragon (the few there are) and Electrical itself, and his overall not so great stats, Pikachu would be a poor first pick, though he has good speed.
So I guess he'd be Al's memorial pick.Skull Destroyer likes this. -
I'll take care of the VO thing by morning.

You guys just don't love me any more.
Actually Ven made my decision easy, because the only team I really wanted was Miami.GridIronKing34 likes this. -

Yeah well I was clearly the best team last year and got no votes out of jealousy and then the Sim that would prove my superiority "broke down" . Now this? LOL :tongue2:
Anyway since I lost this can I be the steelers again this year? -

As for the three teams picked so far and the GM's they are going to:
Vendigo, a rookie GM, choosing Miami will be interesting. He's also German or lives in Germany or perhaps both. Germans are all about efficiency. If I may be stereotypical... So, any fat is likely going to be cut. I put his roster turnover at something as close to Pete Carroll in Seattle. Like I said, it'll be interesting....But not surprising to see Miami as the first team off the list, even though they won't be picking first overall. No Luck...
Then you have Stitches with everyones favorite new team the Panthers. He didn't pick the Colts which should tell you everything you need to know about Stitches as a GM. The least work the better. Know what I mean? The Colts are a mess. The Panthers are not.
Speaking of mess... GIK taking the Colts will be intriguing. He's likely going to have the 1st overall pick. But GIK is a wheeler and a dealer, he won't stay there. Trust me, even if Manning retires, he will trade out of that pick.
As for me, there are a lot of bad teams in the NFL that are not represented on the eight team list here. I will take one of them because they will infiltrate the top 5 draft order. And from there it's easy. Easy easy easy... -
-
I didnt really want any of these teams...I like to work with teams I have some kind of emotional attachment to like Miami, NYG or a player I wanted to have like when I picked Indy year before last because I wanted P Manning on my squad. My teams never end up how they start out anyway :)

I got screwed.

For those of us who got fuc.....didn't get chosen, do we still get to pick our team now or do we have to wait?

I'm not as down as most on Hue as GM, not to say I supported (or didn't immediately run to the bathroom to vomit because of) the Palmer trade, but it didn't make me want to jump off a bridge like most others, I understood the idea behind it (Campbell, while a nice help, his inaccuracy was a huge issue) though the price was too steep, even if his arm has come back (which it seems it has, though let's see how it does with additional wear during the season). He does the other things right though mostly. Benches bad fast players. Puts players in a position to succeed, utilizes them to their strengths. Despite the stat line, Palmer made a lot of good throws. Some bad ones too, definitely, but there were signs of progress. The Denver loss was more on the D than anything. They couldn't stop Tebow and the option read to save their lives. Even though they prepared for it, it's like they were caught completely off guard. Injuries haven't helped either, since it's not like they're an all pro D at full health.
I guess that was way more info than you were looking for, but in short: the jury is out on Hue. He's done some great stuff and some awful stuff. If Al were still around, then he'd be fine even then, but now with Al gone, we don't need to settle for mediocre coaches. If the team falls apart, can him, bring in a (hopefully) competent GM and let him pick the coach. The slight problem with that though is that not including likely great comp picks (Aso, Miller, one other who slips my mind) they only have a 5th and a 6th, so that's not too easy to start building with. And comp picks aren't that high either. -

Al's gone, all we need now is a good GM. Mark and Amy don't care about running a football team, so they'll hire a football GM. Now that could be anyone between Matt Millen to Eric DeCosta to Reggie McKenzie. It's kind of exciting and scary, there's literally no way of knowing what the next path will be because the direction of the whole organization will change with whoever takes over.
-
I dunno, Mark seems to be a very smart and savvy business man and Amy too. They know the best way to make money is to put a good team on the field as that sells. Keep in mind, the people they're asking, are ones like Ron Wolf, really smart, really respected guys. Guys who Al relied on in the 70's who haven't lost it. I'm not saying it's a slam dunk, but I have hope. I know Gil Brandt was close to Al too, so it's always possible he comes in. There's so many possibilities.
