Based on a suggestion by Paul, I am going to hand out the teams that are in the "Suck for LucK" race early this year. However what I'm going to do is an idea similar to what Stitches proposed.
Anyone interested in the GM League in 2012 that would be interested in the 7-9 teams in the race for the #1 overall pick may post so here. They will be added to a list and selected randomly. The first person selected, gets whatever team they want that is eligible. Then we'll repeat the process until all teams are selected. The eligible teams will be all NFL teams with two or less wins after week 9. So while seven teams are for sure going to be in that boat; there are two teams that may or may not be joining the list.
This should allow for some interesting banter between various people.... something to pass the time... because Miami isn't exactly lighting the world on fire.

I don't think the 1st person picked should be able to pick who they want, but I'm in. I hope you don't limit it to 7 people in the drawing either, I think anyone who wants in should be able to (so some people may be left out of the SFL race, lol).

Here's how things will be done.
If you are interested, your name will be thrown in a hat. If there are nine teams in the race, it does not mean only nine names will be in the hat. There could be ten... twenty... I don't know until the deadline (Wednesday) passes.
I will draw the names and whomever is drawn first, gets their pick of the litter. Consider it like a version of the NBA Draft lottery, but everyone's odds are equal. I'll post the order of the names on Wednesday and the person listed first will post which team they want. Then the second person listed will post which team they want after the first team is picked. So on, so forth.

Yeah, that's fairly straight forward :wink2: Do you HAVE to make a pick? Lets say you're picking 4th and a couple of your teams are gone, can you back out? I wouldn't do this, just asking the question for those that may be thinking of it.

So far 14 people are interested, meaning a little more than 50% will get their teams early. We have about 31-32 hours to see if that number will grow.

a part of me hopes I don't get picked.
