If you haven't played Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey, they're both phenomenal jRPGs for 360 and are created by the original minds of Final Fantasy. By now they should be pretty bargain bid priced as well.

I can attest to Lost Odyssey being a great game, think Mor said in the originally that it could easily have been called FF:Lost Odyssey.

 

Lost Odyssey is THE most underrated game I have ever seen. It was released at a time that XBOX 360 =/= JRPGs. If it had a Final Fantasy tag on it, it would be a different story.

A 1000 Years of Dreams are some of the most beautiful stories, and it adds so much depth to the game. It is so unique and such a brilliant addition to a RPG.

If you like the old Final Fantasy games, I HIGHLY recommend it.

 

Did they ever release the DLC they were planning on for the game?

ive got nothing really. The Wolverine demo actually surprised me, so i may check it out eventually.

 

I'll be playing from my current backlog (too many games to name sadly, but including Valkyrie Chronicles), in addition to NCAA 10 (PS3) whenever it comes out.

I might pick up one or more of these games:
Prototype
Infamous (only on PS3!?! really?)
Fuel
Madden NFL 10
Sacred 2 (for the co-op, but probably not a game I get right away)
Cross Edge
Dirt 2

and NOTHING upcoming on the wii (for the summer) interests me yet (that I know of).
I still have to play and beat the 5-6 games I have for it though, including Zelda: TP.

 

Read the career mode on the UFC game. That is seeming more and more like a winner

 

I'll be playing Fable 2, playing through Fallout 3 again and spending some time on MLB the Show. Of course playing some Rock Band is a given from time to time. I can't think of anything new I'll pick up probably until the fall. At some point I'm going to see what Gears of War is all about.

 

While not ground breaking, Grears does what it does VERY well. Gears 2 might be the best co-op story mode EVER.

Just swapped some old games at Gamestop for Fallout 3 and Gears of War. This should keep me happy for a while.

 

play Gears1 first.... Trust me. The story is weak in part one, but it's worth the experience prior to going into 2 imo

Half Life 2, it's expansions + Team Fortress 2 + Portal = Win

 

I am trying to also get through Final Fantasy 7. I kinda feel that I should play this game as a JRPG fan, but it a bit painful to play with the 32 bit graphics and animations. I wish I played it back in the day, but I had an N64 not a Playstation.

 

i played through it again last summer. I still think it holds up well. But that could be the nostalgia talking.

 

I think it holds up pretty well considering, but I also think that's (how it looks now) one reason they should remake it for the PS3.

 

Sony will have an instant PS3 purchase from me if they ever do...

 

i think the special edition of FF13 on the 360 should come with an FF7 remake. I only say 360 so I can get it for free.

I just found out about a game called Sacred 2 and it comes out next week...Co-op rpg diablo style (2 player local, 4 player online coop) ...there is also some pvp settings if u want.
