I hope he responds well. If I was this coaching staff, I'd make it a point to get him the ball early on designed plays, if in fact he is starting of course.
BTW, THROW THE DAMN MAN A SLANT ALREADY, OR EVEN A SIMPLE CROSSING ROUTE!
 -
Do you guys think he has a comprehension problem of some sort?
When they interview him, he sounds a little slow sometimes. I do not, in any way mean to cut him down. I am just wondering if there is a problem of some sort.dolfan7171 and Bpk like this. -

Ginn does have a learning disability. Not a big one, but he does have one.

I think he's just a shy person.....that and uptight concerning his future
Come on Teddy, loosen up and play some ball tonight.dolfan7171 likes this. -
Obviously he can overcome it enough to be an honor roll student, so hopefully the game is finally slowing down for him.dolfan7171 and dolphindebby like this. -

Kudos to all on this thread for not irrationally hating on one of our players. Ted often attracts a lot of harsh judgement.
I am guiltier of labelling him and criticizing him than anyone.
ANyways, hope Teddy gets his mojo back. I must have watched his college highlights a THOUSAND times after we drafted him. He can be so damned exciting when he plays all-out.dolfan7171, Tone_E, dolphindebby and 1 other person like this. -

This is quite possibly the most rational Ginn thread ever. I approve.

I really don't want to knock the guy, all I want to see is him be a star player for this team. I honestly think if we got someone who was a bit stronger at WR to draw some of the attention that he'd be able to calm down a bit, focus on the catch, and make some serious plays for us.
I, for one, don't want to see him go anywhere. I think he can be a valuable weapon for us if put in the right position to.
Sad to hear about his handicaps though. Makes me want to see him succeed a bit more though! -

I would almost guarantee you we try Ginn on a deep flag pattern on one of the first two series of the game. Maybe even the first play. It's just a question of whether Henne and he connect.

I hope tonight is the night Ginn makes me eat my shorts. I hope i have to come here tomorrow and say I think I was wrong about Ted Ginn. -
But if not for him already having a game with no catches this year, I'd have guessed this would be his worst game of the year (because of Revis). -

If Ginn doesn't have a solid night I believe Ginn is done in Miami. He will be traded after this year for sure. He doesn't fit in this style of offense. Maybe it changes if Henne and Ginn have instant chemistry but as it stands now He will not be a Dolphin next season.

I don't see him getting traded. If anything, he would lose his #1 spot to someone else. That is all I could see happening to him.

Thats what I want to see out of Ginn used as a deep threat.
HENNE TO GINN for 6! -
Glad to see the deep ball to Ginn.jetssuck likes this. -

I still don't think Ginn will ever be a #1 WR, but he did make a play when he needed to.
Making plays is what it's all about and he made one tonight.:up:jetssuck likes this. -
We get a big, physical play maker and Teddy is a dangerous number 2.......
This WR unit would take a HUGE step....
After watching Henne tonight, how can you not go get this guy more weapons? -
