I know this has been a real tough season for being a Miami Dolphins fan. I have answered my cell phone to what in the heck was that? I believe we are on the right track with a football guy being brought in to right the ship in Bill Parcells. We shall see what happens in the next week or so. Keep the faith, and thanks for sticking with the team through this very rough season!:ffic: Thanks for your continued support of the site, even when we were down. We greatly appreciate it! May the Miami Dolphins be better in 08' with new management, and new players that want to play for the organization with pride!:hi5:

I have been with the Phins since the 1971 season, when I was 5 years old. Gotta stay with them through the good and the bad. Phin's fans are not like the Bandwagon Patriots fans who just hopped on board after the year 2000.

Win, lose, no matter which, as long as I turned on my television set and saw them put up a good fight, then that's all that matters because that's what sports is all about. Sure, they were pathetic (an understatement) and as much as they made me want to throw things across the room whenever they lost by a field goal or whenever Cameron made a rookie coaching blunder, the determination of some of the players convinced me that this team did want to play (and to win). Unlike some in cities where the team is in complete disarray (namely the one Parcells used as a means to get a raise from the Dolphins) guys like Lorenzo Booker still dive to make catches behind the line of scrimmage and salvage some yards or guys like Jason Taylor who play despite some injuries. I took my fair share of jeers from idiot Patriot fans at school (99% are bandwagoners) and even though the only comeback I could come up with was bringing up the Spygate Scandal, it ain’t (and it never was) easy being green…or teal…or orange…or having a smiling fish on top of your helmet.
I welcome Parcells and I wish him luck in restoring respect from the NFL towards a proud franchise and fan base.Colorado Dolfan likes this. -

fins fan for life and i think we will turn it around in a few years

I was wondering what that stuff at the bottom of my shoes was. Ah the Dolphins season. Just kidding. Stick with the Dolphins through thick and thin. Dont think they have a Dolphins Anonymous set up so I can kick this habit
-
me too man , i think we will turn it around.... its funny tho b/c this whole year when someone asked me was i fan of the fins and i said yeah they would say 0-4 or 0-9 or 0-13, i wood just sit there and say no man u got it wrong its 13-0 lol it was great how they looked at me like i was insane or something.

Thank you very much for Celtkin and all the staff for your hard work and dedication for keeping the Finheaven and this site running everyday. One thing that we can all agree on is that we all bleed Aqua and Orange (and navy blue) everyday.
I grew up in Miami and have been a fan since around 1978 and went to a few games over the years to the Orange Bowl. Living in New JOY-ZEE now, but no matter where I live they will always be my team!
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all.

From my perspective, this has been a great season to find out what kind of fan you really are. A few games into the season I began storing my fins gear away for next year however around the 9th game of the season I came to realize that I should never be ashamed of this team because basically they are just running into some really bad luck. Everyone gets down sometimes and when you are really down at the bottom like we are, it just makes it so much sweeter when you get back on top.
The main reason I am a Miami Dolphin fan is because of the great memories the Miami Dolphins have and will continue to give me. Whether its seeing great player performances along the way, beating the undefeated Bears or Greg (Rich) Camarillo busting a long TD reception for an unlikely win- I'm in no matter what.
Just remember people it wasn't long ago that the Pats were what we were this year and look at them now. We'll get there and when we do it will all be worth it-you'll see. -

You know, this season has probably made me more of a Fins fan than I used to be. I guess I really was tested, it made me stronger. It was tough as hell, especially with FH being down too...but somehow, I see thru the mist.
Y'all know I've been a Bears fan my whole life, and watching the Fins and the Bears both flounder this year has hurt. But like I say, if anything, this year has only strengthened my fandom.
Here's to the future!!! -
I don't like to take credit but, **pats self on back**
This is like my 14th or 15th year as a season ticket holder, and after the worst season I've ever witnessed......my payment for 2008 season tickets will be in that envelop on the first day possible. -
Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?
Wear this season with pride all.
It was tough, but we made it through and didn't jump offf the bandwagon... I've been getting lotsa respect from fans of other teams around here just for wearing my 'Phins gear....
I'm glad to have this site, and of course, Finheaven when it comes back on... Couldn't have survived this season without all of you!
'Phins on the rise in '08!!! :ffic: -
Ugh what an ugly season, but I guess we can all look forward to better things huh? When we win it will be that much sweeter to sweat out these dark times. Maybe bandwagoners will laugh at that sentiment, but I think those who are most loyal will have the most satisfaction come the victory.
Here's to an exciting, productive offseason!
(Special thanks to the FH peeps who set up this site and are working hard to get the real deal back in operation.) -
I remember the Marino days, in 92 when we played at the AFC championship game i think it was. Was it 92? I was 12, and had a small football, one of those minifootballs, and was praying with it for the dolphins to win. Didn't happen, and was crying in my bed that night. I still love the fins no matter what. I just hope they get this ship turned in the right direction and restore some pride to this franchise.
-
I've been asked (more so this year than before) by my friends (some of whom are Patriot bandwagoners) as to why I'm a Dolphins fan and I give the same response as always: "Because I am, [expletive referring to a female dog]...".
That's still true and always will be. -
I have been a fan since I was a little kid. My step father sat down and made an elaborate grid of the 72 schedule that took like an hour. Then he proceeded to put a big red X in every win column all the way down to the super bowl. I was thinking, What an idiot!, nobody ever won every game! So I lived that season, met Norm Evans and Tim Foley at our father son church breakfasts, etc. People will say, yea thirty five years ago- get over it. I ain’t over JFK, I aint over Neil Armstrong, I ain’t over my undefeated super bowl team. I wore my Dolphins T shirt to my family Christmas party with all my stinkin’ Cowboy loving inlaws and took all the flack- cause they will never know. Dolphin fan, baby! That’s my team!
-
There were only a few of us who stuck with THIS TEAM all season. Everyone else turned on players, coaches, or front office people pretty early and relentlessly.
-
We as true fans have to remain patient. :ffic: -
Owners, coaches, players and front office people come and go. But loyal phin fans always remain. We are the Miami Dolphins. Iam from Delaware and its my dream family vacation to go to Miami for a game. After a season like this , I may have to make this dream come true next year. Any donations lol.I don't know about you guys but I get filled with pride when I see the dolphin sign.
-
Fin fan since '67. No matter what, Dolphins are my team. There hasn't been a team that ever existed that hasn't been through a season like this. Now it's done. Syonara baby. Our team starts to turn it around.......today! Fasten your seatbelts and make sure your seatbacks and tray tables are in the upright and locked positions. This is going to be one hell of an offeason.

Yea FH
This is great, seeing all the fans out there. I want to thank Celtkin and ALL the admins at FH for all the hard work and patience they show all of us. This is a great sight and we should all be grateful to have it to come to.
Go Dolphins--"Our Day Will Come" -
Thank you Fin Fan for sticking by the Dolphins. You are an asset to the Internet Miami Dolphins community. You give all of us a good name, even if we don't deserve it.
Happy New Year buddy!!
