Please fire his conservative self asap.
I'm done with him, and he can blame it on his OC that he kept.
Not everyone is going to agree with this so lets remember not to call people out with names if they don't. Respect others please!

And not over ruling a wildcat call on 2nd and 10 when Henne finally started to get rolling...
ToddsPhins, Zippy, and 2 others like this. -
He's Wannstedt 2.0 except doesn't have a playoff win. And Jay Fiedler is still the best QB since Marino...sad.
Please Ross give money to Bill Cowher. And please just tank the next two games instead of getting a cheap win against the resting Patriots. Dolphins will lose to the Lions even if they try to win, so that doesn't matter.DolfanJake likes this. -
Its inexcusable. They'll proabably lose to Detroit next week too.
-
This organization had better clean house. The entire offensive staff has to go. Dan Henning doesn't belong in football.

I've been of this thought for a month now, but I'll join the official bandwagon. Where do I sign?

I hate the way this team does buisness. Fire Sparano, cut Henne....start from scratch offensivly.

Honestly, I wouldn't complain if Mike Nolan go promoted and we brought in someone like Bill Callahan, John Ramsdell, or Al Saunders to run the offense.
-
1-6 at home is unacceptable. Fire him yesterday. We should be 9-5 right now and in the thick of things.

F*ck Sparano and the ******s that call his plays.. On his gravestone from the Miami Dolphins it should say, "Wildcat 2008 -2010"
Led to one great season KILLED another.. So long Tony, don't let the door hit you on the way out.ToddsPhins likes this. -
And I love the job Sparano has done, but this is the second yr in a row his team has laid an egg when the playoffs were in smelling distance.

No Sparano must go, he doesn't believe in offense. He hates TD's......he must, because he never overrules these asshat calls of Henning !ToddsPhins likes this.

His clock management is non existent. We wasted a timeout when we should have been hurrying up to get a play ran. We obviously don't have a 2 minute offense in the playbook. There's only one coach on this staff that deserves to stay and that's Nolan.

keep the coaching staff intact and upgrade the oline. Try to get a TE, RB also. Irealnd got us a top 5 defense in 3 years. If he gets us a offensive line we'll be a top 16 offense and thats a playoff combo

I'm actually on board with you Ozzy.
This staff really reminds me of Wanny quite a bit at this point.
On offense they want to play straight up conservative, wait for the other team to mess up to win, rely on your defense to carry you, basic formations on offense with little formation variance, refusal to adjust gameplans, etc.
On the personnel side I see no ability to utilize playmakers and literally no effort in scheme to put playmakers in position to make plays.
Also I see a grave lack of player development with this crew. Henne has tools. He looks horribly unprepared at times and they continually make calls that do not utilize his stengths. Henne isn't perfect by any means but IMO a lot of it is due to bad coaching.
Game management is atrocious with this crew as well.
Time management has been awful all year.
In every aspect this team has underperformed except on defense where Nolan is the one shining ray of hope on the coaching staff.
This whole crew needs to go IMO.

To me, his failing is he has not been able to motivate the team to a higher level when it mattered, it seems like we play preseason games and everything is a bit experiment.
Hitching himself to Chad Henne was also a mistake imo.Ozzy likes this. -
Promote Nolan to Asst Head Coach and give him a raise. This way, it will be hard for teams to snag him from us without giving him a HC jobToddsPhins and GMJohnson like this.

Love ya AP, but I'm done with Tony. We may keep Ireland, it depends on if we bring in a high profile coach or not. Because I reckon a big name coach will want his own gm or be the gm himself (which I certainly don't want).
-
I'm in. Fire him. Enough is enough
-
agree 100%. His teams were always ready to fight to win, instead of settling for FGs......
-
I agree!!!!!! I'm F%#*&#! done with him!!!!! Henne has to go TOOO!!!!!!!Poor clock management, coach doesn't know WTF to do. no hussle by the team. I can go on & on & on............................Help please S. Ross!!!!Make a change NOW

I've never seen a coaching staff take an offense out of a groove like that. Marshall was getting in a groove. Henne was completing 9 straight passes. Ronnie was running pretty solid. We were blocking better. WILDCAT!
Then at the end of the game, we clearly still wanted the tie. We actually called plays with what, 3 WR's? And had Bess running 5 yard routes. What the hell? On that Jags Hail Mary, they had THREE WR's in the area of the batted ball. Our WR's already aren't that fast, at least let them run upfield together to create some confusion.ToddsPhins and Coral Reefer like this. -
