Resign Reggie to be a dynamic offensive weapon. However, Lamar Miller HAS to be the #1 RB. He is by far the better between the tackles runner of the two.

 

Reggie used right can have more games like this!

Indifferent. I like him, would be happy if he stayed, wouldn't be upset if he didn't. We have much bigger holes to worry about.

 

I would love to see Reggie back on our team. He always gives 100% and is by far our best skill position player. Hopefully the price is right!

 

Absolutely. Keep Bush out in space but Miller has to be that guy.

 

I'd rather have him on my fantasy football team than my starting running-back this week. Lamar Miller really illustrated how a runningback is supposed to make decisions today.

 

I honestly don't see why they wouldn't resign him unless hes looking for crazy money

 

And that's about his ceiling in the NFL, and you can do much better than that.

he can be our third down back, as long as the contract reflects it, 3/10..

The last few games we've seen how versatile Reggie can be in this offense. Not resigning means losing a playmaker and team leader to possibly a division rival. I hope they can work out a contract soon.

 

Reshad Jones is playing at or above the 95th percentile of the players at his position, and Reggie Bush is playing at about the 50th of the players at his.

 

Reshad Jones has been light-years better at his position than Bush has been at runningback.

If you wanted to put Reggie Bush into defensive back form this year it would be Terrell Buckley. A guy who isn't that great but will stick around, all the while causing you to question if the big plays are worth the effects of constantly gambling for them

 

I really do not understand why so many people are down on Bush. He was a great P/U by Ireland and has been a solid contributer to our offense. I hope we resign him.

 

Well if you want to sign him to a contract that's consistent with the role he had in New Orleans, and have someone else start for you at running back, I'm with you.

 

Who else were they going to use to make a big play today?I like Reggie but their options were sorta limited today with the recievers banged up.

 

But RB is also more of a liability as a pass blocker. I would be in favor of bringing him back under that type of contract. I'm leery of losing play makers an offense with so few of them.

 

Ceiling huh? One of the better ypc guys in the league, and when he gets 20 carries this year??(only twice) he is averaging close to 140 yards in those games.

Bush shouldn't get top 10 RB $$, but to assume there are many better options is naive.

 

He shouldn't be all that expensive to resign so why not? He's proven that he's effective in this offense and if we can get some more weapons around him I think he'll be even more effective. He's not going to get some ridiculous Chris Johnson deal so he's worth keeping at the right price. He's played well here and been a good guy to have in the locker room so he should be someone we target to keep. And this is from a guy (me) who didn't like him before he came here and thought he was a bad seed from his USC days...
