Another thought - Big ups to D Thomas tonight. I was nervous with him at RT but he had a good game all in all. Williams blew him up one play...but there were quite a few that he man handled him 1:1

Flashing some serious potential - let him get his starting reps in and we might have another young player to plug in with due time.

Exactly Dallas Thomas is a natural Tackle, the way he plants his feet, the way he walls off rather then engage strongly, thought he had a great game, gave up some pressures and a sack or two they were not instant pressures.

The best thing about this win is not about the bills, is about shutting the **** up all these trolls for a week hehe.

 

I dont claim to know more than **** for evaluating the trenches...but he had a few plays where he STONED his man. Even when he got burned he gave a lane to step forward (though it was near instant and understandable Tannehill didnt find it).

I expected doubles all night on the right side...I was worried early to see him taking some solo blocks...but like you said - he held up well. God knows weve seen horrific RT play in comparison in recent memory. A welcome game.

To wrap up my above thought...next week is another big test. Lets see how it goes. Fingers crossed hes mkaing it work.

James is turning out to be a fantastic pick. I wasnt crazy about it during the draft but in retrospect, Hickey is showing some goddam football smarts with the pick. Kid is playing like the best tackle out of the draft IMO (homerism is huge here, but still...)
