From their QB down to Welker. Their tight ends, Branch, Ocho and their owner. We should of beat these overachieving Duke looking punks.

I like the insult but overrrated?
Team just put up over 600 yards of offense on us and you're saying their overrated? LOL.
Our defense wins the overrated award tonight.Pagan, McLovin, NJFINSFAN1 and 1 other person like this. -
Brady is far from overrated. His performance wasn't just our defense being bad... he picked us apart with ridiculous accuracy.

Brady looked phenominal tonight and our defense looked absent, thanks to the two Im not even going to discuss the humilation i will be enduring thanks to the dumb bet i made against a pats fan but it involves singing in a skirt in front of people. I hate the Dolphins tonight.

You guys do realize that any time that ****er actually faced any pressure he didn't do all that hot right? I can count a string of ten huge completions he had NOT EVEN MOVING A FOOT from where he was in the pocket.
Henne has twice the tenacity that ****er does.DOLPHAN1 likes this. -

You know the funny thing is that when I go back and look at it Tom Brady wasn't that incredible watching the highlights. These throws aren't incredible, great yes but unstoppable **** no. Even without a pass rush if Miami had Will Allen out there covering there's a chance they may have won this game, that's how bad Sapp and Caroll were. Jones was awful as well. This is what the Patriots are good at, they find something weak they're going to exploit and it's the reason why the Jets can match up with them. They're a balanced, disciplined team. Sapp and Caroll would not last on that team. That 99 yard TD reception should never have happened, Miami should have scored twice in the red zone from where they were.
We keep going through stuff like this, but this is why really good teams can beat the Patriots. They don't beat themselves. Baltimore WOULD NEVER have let this happen to them. It's an issue of coaching and I'm not talking about Mike Nolan, I'm talking about the inability of Tony Sparano and Ireland to fill the team with the obvious guys and maintain discipline on the field. Why are the Dolphins substitutions so damn slow? Why are we always in a terrible T.O. situation.
- Will Allen why is he not on the team
- Livas why is he not on the team
- Berger why is he not on the team
- Why is Jerry on the team
- Why is Colombo the starting RT
- Why is Carey the starting RG
- Why is Incognito at LG and not RG
It's these mind-boggling things that make the Pats look that great. -

And I feel vindicated. The beating I took for stating my honest opinion was brutal. All summer I was called every bad name, and had my loyalty as a Dolfan constantly questioned, etc.
I understand Ross has now said buying the Dolphins was a mistake. Good - sell the team ASAP because you too sir are a clown, masquarading as an NFL owner.

If Will Allen is such a help to us, why has he not been signed for the past week or so? He's worked out with a few teams. Yet, playing a position where teams scrape the bottom of the barrel for talent, he's yet to land a gig.
Now, he's better than every young player we have. What I don't get is we are supposed to let Chad Henne mature and come into his own, yet we can't use the same approach with another young player like Carroll or Jones? They had limited reps last year as replacements & ST players. They got owned by the most well oiled offense in the NFL. Let's see how things shake out over a couple of weeks. -
They sure looked overrated piling up 600+ yards offense on our 'elite' defense.
The Patriot offense was epic last night. And our defense didn't respect it enough in preparation for that game. Brady & Co exploited it.
Lots of teams wait until after Week 1 to sign vets so their contracts aren't fully guaranteed. A guy with Allen's injury history, not surprising IMO.

Take away the horrid play by every one of our DB's (minus Bell), Dansby, the whole D Line, and I still see a ray of hope with this team. Is all it took to give Henne free reign to call audibles and throw the ball down the field for him to blossom? This passing offense looked special and while we still couldn't cover the TE or Welker, or stop the run, or take a breath of O2, the offense gave me hope.
CUT NOLAN CARROLL...go sign Will Allen. Carroll was a waste out there. -

Brady was great last night, there's no denying that. However, you have to adjust his numbers for a midseason game. I expect him to only throw for around 375 the next time these teams play.

Get real kid... 121-39 since 2001 with 4 SB trips, and 3 SB wins. Yea I'll take that overratedness for my team any day of the week.

The only way to beat Brady is to get pressure on him, force him into mistakes, sack him, etc....we were rarely able to do this. I think Wake got past the Pat's rookie tackle once or twice, but Brady basically was able to stand back there....take five seconds to scan the field and hit the open guy. I think teams like the Jets, Ravens and Steelers can get to Brady because they have better pass rushers and d-backs who can stay with receivers and tight ends. The hurry up offense they ran also seemed to expose how out-of-shape many of our defensive players are. Hope they learn from this.
