To keep in the spirit of the thread; in light of recent rumors about Bess, Lane Johnson falls to 6 and the Dolphins package Bess for a trade up to 6 which shouldn't break the bank and, after closely studying w/e is available on youtube, get us what I truly belive is the better all around tackle of the draft.

Got it. He's higher on some boards than some would think, according to NFL32 anyway. From what there is to see of Fluker on the net, I've seen. I like him a lot. A lot. I really don't see how he is *generaly* rated so low in such a bad draft class but what do I know? I'm a shmo.

I get your point. I didn't even think that was a real possibility though I did mention that if Ireland is desperate enough to part with the bread and butter of our draft, I'd rather him take Fluker and keep our picks.

Yeah. I'm in agreement. After having salivated for Patterson before Wallace came into the picture and all of the excitement of Austin/Eifert, it would be a disappointing pick. But then again, I'd be disappointed by us drafting any Olineman in the first round not named Johnson. Though, I must admit, Cooper is a monster. M-O-N-S-T-E-R.

Irish goes down from 12 to 16, picking up a 3rd(A). Down from 16-21 for another 3rd(B) and takes Eifert at 21. Trades up from 42 to 33 with a 3rd (A) and a 4th for Watson. Up from 54 to 40 with a 3rd (B) and a 5th for Carridine. Then uses the remaining 2 3rds and Bess to move up for Hayden.
