Brent Grimes has played so well and earned so much. He is the pillar of our defense and I'm so glad he's here. I've loved him from day 1. Go Shippensburg baby!

I love Grimes..in my opinion best corner in the league..not to get off topic but I thought that Jamar Taylor played a helluva game too.

 

I love how this defence is anchored by a guy who planed in the CFL and a guy who played in NFL World.

 

That tackle on 3rd and 1 was a statement.

 

I wish we had four of him. No one would pass on us.

I'm just in love with grimes..I guess part of it comes from projecting his eliteness accurately..contract was a great deal.

his body and athleticism is just very unique, so happy he's all ours and locked up for two more years.

 

I cannot recall that play from last night. Taylor making an outstanding play on a sweep right, but that's the only tackle by a corner like that, I can recall.

 

Yet, some here were saying early in the season we overpaid him and he wasn't living up to his contract. I guess that's because he didn't come out of the gate with 10 picks in the first two weeks or something. :lol:

the int vrs the raiders should of put everyone on check who questioned him..when you know the player has not lost a step, and you know he's clean in the work ethic category, and you know he's reached a very hi level of play before, then the odds are in his favor that he is just as good, if not better with 1 more year of exp to apply to his game.

 

I love Grimes as a mentor to Taylor and Davis, especially now that Davis is done. Grimes went thru the same thing and can be a great mentor. I do think we grab another corner in this draft. Just depends on how high we go.

 

I've wondered if the turf was a little rough last night and/or has been all season. I feel like every week Miami's had a home game, the "U" has also had a home game.

 

Considering how the rules have changed, I think Grimes' play has been more impressive.

 

Surtain and Madison were quite the combo however. I loved Surtain. So much.
