Speaking of ball skills and Mississippi State...what about Darius Slay? I'm destined to have a soft spot for Dwayne's little brother as Dwayne was a favorite of mine though obviously too slow to make it in the pros.
Darius intercepted Aaron Murray a year ago and returned it 72 yards for a TD. He has 4 interceptions this year including another TD return, as well as a blocked punt.

In situations like that I tend to like the guy that gets tested. I'm reminded of Coye Francies versus Chris Owens in San Jose State's defense. One problem with evaluating corners is when they get the reputation for being good they can be avoided by defenses. But you really only find out if a corner is worth his salt by seeing him tested and seeing how he reacts. Owens was the guy that was thrown at more than Francies because Francies walked in with the reputation from his being a high caliber JUCO transfer, but Owens ended up the better player. I'd love to pop on some Mississippi State tape and really see if there's a difference in pro skill level between Banks and Slay.

I see Jerry Reese has mastered the art of projecting sound waves without any associated meaning.

Shamarko Thomas from Syracuse has flown below the radar all season but this kid is an athletic freak of nature. He will be a starting NFL safety for a long time.

Shamarko is a guy I've brought up before as well, prior to this season. Always impressed me whenever USF played Syracuse.
