One of our own is in the hospital.
A lot of you may have come to know the poster Fin4Ever over the past year or two. I introduced him to the forum. He is the man who introduced me to the Dolphins, and we so not always see eye to eye on life, or on the team, but he is my father.
He was taken to intensive care over the weekend, while I was at the game. He was basically nonresponsive after acting bizzarly for a week or so. He has been moved to cardiac stepdown, but he has been dealing with swelling in his brain and chest pains... He is healing, but he is still supporting our team, and he told me today he thinks we will cover the spread and beat the Patriots down on Thursday! Just like he will beat this.
I know that he would appreciate your love and support!! My old man is goofy, and sometimes he rubs people the wrong way, but he loves our team and this forum. We have an amazing community here, and I am proud to be a part of it.
Thank you!
Jason

Dolphin fans...In a subliminal way we are all family, brothers of the same struggle so to speak. That much was evident when I went to the game in Nashville and random Miami fans were high fivin with me and offering to take pictures for me and my wife. Even the conversations were comfortable, so the unity is there as far as that goes. Even on a forum where we argue and debate, I doubt a single person here truly wishes something bad would happen to another poster/fan. I hope Fin4Ever comes out of this, and joins us again soon. In a way we're a team of our own, so...Hope he's ok.
