last year we really put a lot of pressure on Mariota and knocked him out.
However, they are a better running team now

 

TN is the exact team we match-up poorly against. 4th in rushing, they can keep the defense on the field and be in manageable downs all day long

 

TN is just as desperate.Their qb was #2 overall and has been inconsistent.

Mularkey is really screwing up the offense, even though their roster is actually pretty good. He's got this tight, heavy run game with max-protect passing thing going on...and none of it plays to his quarterback's strengths. He wants to keep Mariota from getting hit, but he took it to an extreme that just doesn't work in the NFL, and he doesn't understand what his QB is good at. Mariota has been pretty terrible so far this year, and part of it is the awful scheme.

Defensively they're not bad. That unit has kept them in games for the most part. Even in Houston last week, the Texans beat them on a punt return.

Even though when I said our record would be 4-12, I selected this as one of the wins.

Basically this Titans team has a better defense than people think. They do not allow long drives and the points score against is masked by turnovers that have either gone for scores or set up field goals. Being a LeBeau coached team I think they will be well coached and solid. That being said they do not generate much pressure, but we certainly do not want to abandoned the run early and let Dick LeBeau pin his ears back.

The Titans have been losing because they turn the ball over frequently. We have to do something we rarely do and get takeaways.

We have seen games when Miami's counted out where they just come in and kick *** from the opening snap, this sets up to be one of those types of games. 10 days rest, turmoil, embarrassed by the last home performance etc.

But if we do not win the TO battle (even though we should) I think we could be in trouble.

 

Rethought my prediction.

Ball club is healthy. 10 days rest.
Chip on their shoulder after getting yelled at for a week.
Desperate. Season on the line.
Tannehill with a lot to prove; eager to do so.
Offensive line finally healthy.

My thoughts on the Titans are if we lose to them the rest of the season will be very long. Anyway I will have cold ones on ice clutching my "lucky" Dolphins football.

 

Listen, we got a barely win against the Doo Doo Browns two weeks ago. If we barely win against the Titans eff that. We need to smash them.

 

with tunsil and albert out we probably lose. a squeaker of a win would be huge

 

I severely overestimated our defense. Won't make that mistake again. This entire team sucks.

I knew my prediction was going to go out the window the moment I heard that Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner was starting.

 

I predict we are not going to win another game this season. We are in deep ****.

This season is going to be epically bad.

 

Very happy though we won at least 1 game. I wouldn't be able to take an 0-16 season (1-15 I'm OK with if it helps the team long term, but 0-16 puts you in the history books).

 

I'm cancelling my plans to fly out there for the Dec.11th game vs. the Cards. Was trying to plan a big trip with all my Cardinal fan buddies, but I don't even want to pay to see these guys play.

 

We have to cut Suh and Tanny this offseason. Get that money back and get some medium priced players in here. You can probably get 4-5 players who can contribute something for their collective salaries. We will still take a hit, but it will pass quickly, continuing to carry that money forward is not going to work.

 

What a void those two contracts combined have created.

 

Suh is productive, he's just over paid. Tannehill is just done. He's finished here.

No way he can be back next year.

 

I basically agree, but Suh is uncuttable, 41 mil dead cap hit.
