Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is set to return to the Dolphins lineup this Sunday.
Waddle did not play last Sunday because he suffered a concussion in Miami’s Week Two win over the Patriots, but he has steadily stepped up his practice workload and returned to full participation on Wednesday. All went well in that session and the Dolphins said on Thursday that Waddle has been cleared from the concussion protocol.
The Dolphins offense didn’t miss Waddle while they were demolishing the Broncos 70-20 last Sunday, but they’ll still welcome having him back in the lineup this week. Sunday brings a trip to Buffalo for an early edge in the race for the AFC East title.
Waddle had eight catches for 164 yards in the first two weeks of the season.

Good news. It's early in the season but this is already a huge game and Waddle should have opportunities to make plays.

I'll tell you what I liked, maybe THE MOST, about the win last week, was that the offense, Tua especially, didn't miss a beat being down one of the main offensive weapons. That is something that I had concerns about. Tua continues to eliminate my concerns.

With the improvements on the OL and the running game, we are going to be extremely hard to stop on offense. At one point against the Broncos we had our 2nd string QB, 5th RB, 3rd, 6th, and 7th WR, 2nd TE, and three backup linemen in the game. They ripped off a 52 yard run.
Having said that, we are not the only good team in the league. Buffalo, KC, Philly, SF, Cincy, LAC, and Dallas are all good teams.Phil Hutchings and resnor like this. -

Great news.
I think we’ll need everybody at their best on Sunday.
I’m a big fan of Waddle, and it says a lot about his character that, as good as he is, he’s willing to play second fiddle to Tyreek.Last edited: Sep 29, 2023dolphin25 likes this. -
