We got their best..it was an experience we needed to go thru in this progression of success..

I feel very good about beating the teams were supposed to beat and that includes the jets twice and the ravens and vikings at home..

lets watch this jet game and see how were going to attack.

Defensively I think we need to commit to stopping the run and containing Michael Vick, forcing him to beat us through the air. We can't afford to let the Jets gash us on the ground like the Broncos did yesterday. We're likely getting Finnegan back, and I trust those guys back there... I think this defense had their ego bruised yesterday and will want to come out of the gates firing and proving that they are an elite defense.

Offensively, if we play the Jets like we did the Broncos, we've got nothing to worry about... strangely I'm feeling more confident in this offense lately than the defense...

Their not running mike vick on the read option to much, his escapability is always dangerous but he's simply not an accurate thrower of the football..so yes, you sell out to stop the run and you make him beat you with his arm..

James will be back, Finnegan should be back, Taylor is not injured badly, he will be back for the stretch which will allow jimmy wilson to see less snaps..and Charlie should be back next week.

I think we made it out of that game ok injury wise..

Just stated it in another thread. There is a good chance 10 wins is not enough. I just played with the ESPN machine and picked everything like I thought it may go. At 10 wins we still didn't make it.

7 to 11 that Hogan guy was a keeper he plays hard all the time and showing some good hands.

Couldnt agree more. I saw one team looking to steal a win and another team desperate for a win. Still like our chances for 10-6.

No. He got that nick name in camp with us because he was always open. He simply was not as talented as the players that made our 53.

He was never able to translate his practice success onto the field during preseason games.

I hope we don't make the playoffs, this D is not even ready for regular season football.

Making the playoffs and getting that experience would be a valuable asset for the team going into next year..to feel that speed of the playoffs is important if you can get it.

I look at every new regime in a three year window, if you can get me to the playoffs with a relatively young team then I will continue with your regime, if they get there then I don't see the logic in you being so upset, I understand you not thinking their ready to win in the playoffs, and I would tend to agree with you, but it depends on the matchup no?, and I know that we need more players at certain positions to be that team you trust.
