Season is far from over, though some would like it to be.

 

We have the longest active losing streak in the NFL, 6 losses in a row since 2010. And that last win was the awful 10-6 one against the Jets. The last quality performance was in November 2010 in Oakland. Nearly a year. We've lost to the Cleveland Browns twice in less than a year.

That is one reason nobody believes in them. Just one. The rest are in all the other threads.

 

I love and hate this team at the same time.

 

I believe it's I before E except after a loss to the Browns.

 

I believe every week. Hopefully we get our first W this week and we can move on.

I give props to people who believe in some big magical winning streak. I used to be like that, like in 2006 when they went on that 4 or 5 game win streak I thought "Well maybe they'll run the table..." Didn't work out so well.

I still believed there was a chance until Sunday. They've killed my hope in this current direction.

 

I still believe that the Dolphins can get into the playoffs and beyond. I might be by myself on this but I just believe it.

 

So you believe this team is a Super Bowl contender?

Put Clemons back in and hopefully the secondary pulls its head out from where the sun dont shine. Maybe if we are lucky he will even catch a ball or two.

I am very close to giving in but a win this weekend will have me step back from the ledge.

Win Sunday and I might believe, only because there's a good chance we'd be 2-3 as somehow, Sparano seems to master the Jets (go figure!).

 

As crazy as it sounds, yes I do believe that. I honestly believe that when this team plays as well as I know they can, they cannot be stopped. In my opinion, there is no reason we couldn't be 3-0 right now. I keep believing there is a chance until they can't play anymore games to get into the playoffs to compete for the Super Bowl. When we don't get in the playoffs, my focus is on next year believing they can do win it all again. As a fan that is what I am about. So to make it short, yes I believe the Miami Dolphins are Super Bowl contenders until they win one.

I don't believe things, I go on evidence. The evidence says this is a very, very, very bad team. Bottom 5. Maybe bottom 3. No amount of belief will make this not true.

 

I believe Sparano and Ireland are not the answer.

 

I believe that the Dolphins will play on Sunday at 4:15.....

 

I want to believe in them, I do. but being as emotionally invested as I am in this team, it's just hard right now. sometimes you gotta show yourself some compassion, ya know? I want them to win, and make the playoffs, and win the super bowl, every year. but do I fool myself into believing it will happen? nah. a pessimist is what an optimist calls a realist. until this team shows me, and all the other fans out there, that they can win games they should be winning, then any losses will not come as a surprise. I still get annoyed when they lose, and I'm still ecstatic when they win. but I can't believe this team is on the right path this season.

I have believed since the end of the regular season last year that the Dolphins would never be a winning organization as long as Sparano and Ireland are the Head Coach and GM.
I now believe I was right in making this assumption.

Neither. I just believe and have faith. As a fan, I always believe and anticipate good things to happen. Now I do understand we haven't done much winning, but deep inside I do believe we can win every game every year.

 

If we lose on Sunday you can change this thread title to "We got to BEREAVE"

well, do you know the definition of insanity? You can believe what you want, don't get me wrong, but at some point it becomes hopeless. Right now, I believe we will lose each game until we win one. Even then it will be a skeptical.

 

Same here, one of my last shreds of hope is we started out 0-3 in 2009 and bounced back to have a fun yr, so this week's Sd game is huge from that standpoint.

Win that one, the Jest and Broncos games are also winnable.

 

0-3 in the AFC and 2 losses to possible wild card teams that dolphins would need to make the playoffs in this division = season over

 

Pats will win the AFCE, Texans the AFCS, the Browns loss was hurtful, but not the end of the world.
