DorfdadForum VeteranOPNo not as head coach but as the defensive coordinator. While we were not horrible this year we’re still in that middle tier IMHO and with the firing of Fangio as Denver head coach I feel we have a chance to improve this team with this move. Him and Flores together would make a very potent defense I believe and we need to coach up these guys better!!

We already have a DC - his name is Brian Flores. Fangio only makes sense with a new head coach.
Deus ex dolphinForum VeteranYeah, if Fangio came in to be the DC for Harbaugh it would make sense. Getting the band back together that had a lot of success in San Fran.
Also, why would any good DC want the Miami job? Flores might have ONE year left before getting fired, but in contrast a new coach would be able to offer some stability for at least a couple years.

no Flores needs to focus on the team and have input that’s his problem he’s doing to much. Vic can run his defense and Flores can have input to make it crazy good

brandon27SupporterI don't know... Flores and Boyer have built a solid defense for us. I'm not changing that for Fangio at this point if the plan is to keep Flores. What we need is a competent OC.

DorfdadForum Veteran7 straight losses against average teams Is not successful. Every year we do this slow start and miss out by 1-2 games we need lights out defense if this offense is what they can build.
we have 3-4 Oc’s why not an experienced DC with head coaching experience to help out?
