I disagree. While our defense was plagued with injuries, the TALENT is there. Boyer’s inability to adjust his defensive schemes truly made our defense look much worse than it really is. Proof of that is last season when the Dolphins were 2-5 with Boyer calling the defense and 7-1 when Flores had enough and took over. The TALENT is there.

Offensive line has been and continues to be our greatest weakness. We’ve not been able to effectively run the ball since the days of Ricky Williams. We need the OL and a stud running back that can get McDaniel’s zone running game going.

If we can get that running game going, God help whoever faces our offense.

While I agree the talent is there for a good defense the only thing that really changed last year was the quality of the QBs and offenses in the 2nd half

Barkley has stated all year long he wants to remain a Giant. Those silly odds are if for some reason he doesn't stay with the Giants.

In any case, do not pay running backs.

Grier doing stupid Grier **** as usual, and Ross will do nothing about it.

I'm pretty sure this was debunked. Boyer was calling defense whole year.

I still find that hard to believe. Something completely and totally changed, then went backwards once we know Boyer was calling plays.

Boyer isn't really a great defensive mind. He only knew how to call a defense where he had strong CBs. That defensive scheme is only as good as the CBs. The CBs were injured (Byron Jones) or bad (Howard). He didn't adjust because he didn't know how.

I think who was calling the plays is not very relevant. I think more relavent is who was preparing the game plan and preparing the defense during the week. I think its pretty obvious Flores took a more hands on approach in preparing the defense before the ravens game and we saw the change. This was reported on about flores implementing changes to the defense.

I have no idea or clue why some of you think Boyer was ok. When you have that many injuries in the secondary you play it riskier going for the big play, you’re playing with house money at this point. That bull**** watching our DBs playing 15 yards off the WRs was just insane
Our LBs didn’t flourish at all under Boyer

IF this is true Ross needs to fire Grier immediately. Grier has done nothing to improve this team over a .500 record since he's been here. If you're hiring in a new coach you HAVE to let him have his coaches, and not stick him with the old regimes. If we had VIC here last year we would be waiting for Sundays game to root the Dolphins on to the SuperBowl even with our injuries.

Grier is a complete JOKE and the fact he's still stealing house money on this team is ridculious (He bitterly been hampering this team with his strategies) I get that when they hired McDaniel they probably said we had a good defense lets just put a new Offensive coach in and it will work. But if you interviewed McDaniel and he said I want VIC to come as well and you didn't entertain that you're clueless.

and again the rumor mill just keeps churning. We don’t know that for sure. There are so many Grier haters that you knew this rumor was coming

Oh, I agree. I stated before the season started that the defense concerned be because of Boyer

Yeah, there are Grier haters just for the fun of it right? It couldn't be because Grier has held an influential position with the team for over 20 years and has been running the whole thing for the last 8 years and we have been a laughing stock during that whole time right? That couldn't be it.

It’s going to be a tough call. He was supposed to participate in Pro Bowl activities, since Burrow and Mahomes are still playing, but he’s still in concussion protocol and not cleared for any sort of activity.

I didn't know that he's still not cleared yet. Hopefully he passes on participating if given the opportunity to play.

There is. They are not clearing him deliberately. There's no point in clearing him for an obstacle course or hula hoop competition. He does not need to be cleared for any football activities right now. Take it slow and get ready for training camp.

And, anyone that uses the word "vegetable" when referring to him is a classless piece of shti.

Be real dumb to run this QB situation back again. Although this organization/Grier has been doing dumb and stubborn things for a while now.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Most of you probably already heard this, but I didn’t see it posted. Aside from seeing Brady visiting schools in Miami for his kids, he is also having a huge mansion built on a bay in Miami right across the water from Gisele’s place.

I feel like I have so much in common with TB12. I could totally see myself buying a brand new double wide right across the trailer park from my wife someday to be closer to the kids. I already stopped drinking alcohol and make sure to religiously drink one oz. of water for every pound of body weight as well as making sure to be in bed no later than 9 pm.

Wouldn't be very surprising if the same organization that wants Austin Jackson and Eich to compete for starting jobs next season. That drafted Igbo in the 1st round. Also, is rolling with Tua another season, but this time he's definitely going to have a productive and healthy season because reasons.
