For me:
- Kidney Stone
- 2nd degree burns on my entire stomach
- Compressed tailbone
- Gout (which generally comes after kidney stones)
- When my back goes out. (The muscles pull my spine crooked)

For me its definately my back. Scoliosis runs in my family. My sister and brother have had surgery to put rods in their spine, and my sister is going to need to get it done a second time because her spine has bent the titanium with its strong desire to curve. I'm much luckier, as mine just causes discomfort, mild pain and tightness for the most part. However, from time to time, I'll pull or tweek the muscle that runs along the right side of my spine from my shoulder to my belt, and the pain is intense. Plus, it makes moving very difficult and I look like Igor as I'm hunched over. The worst time I did it I was completely laid out in agony for three days, and even laying in bed only reduced the pain a little.

The worst instance I can think of was after the initial medication wore off in the hours immediately following ACL replacement and meniscus repair, (i suppose) luckily it was a gradual (albeit not very slow) ramp up as opposed to an abrupt instance like when throwing your back out (and I have had a back spasm before and it sucked something awful).

Been pretty lucky on the pain front.
Worst I've had was when I broke the radius and ulna in my left arm and the doc had to bend the break 90 degrees to reset it.
Bruised ribs twice. Bruised the joints around my sternum once. That made it hurt to breathe...ToddPhin, MikeHoncho and Fin D like this. -
As for me? I have my knee drained every 1-2 years depending on how much fluid is built up....it blowsssssssss they strap your leg in a device so it doesnt move and they come at with a thick *** needle and they go in from the side and under the knee cap...I hate it...

I broke my pinkie playing football (a pass got slightly deflected just before I was about to catch it, so damn near full speed it went dead on the tip of my pinkie). I thought I had just jammed it, so I stupidly just let it go despite it hurting like hell for days (even played the rest of the game). Eventually it stopped hurting and the swelling went down, and it was then that I realized it was actually disfigured (because it reset on its own). Luckily I didn't lose too much range of motion with that digit and it's mostly just a cosmetic problem. :no:Fin D, ToddPhin, Colorado Dolfan and 1 other person like this. -

-When I blew my knee out
-Collided with my fast center-fielder on a shallow pop fly as I was playing SS. I blacked out, front flipped, and broke my right fibula....
-Broke my ribs when I fell off of my roof onto a tree stump
-Dislocated my right shoulder on a sideline tackle, threw it back into place to try to keep playing, was excruciating, got a stern lashing from my medical trainer.........and he told me how dumb it was too.....Fin D likes this. -

I'll rank mine in pain order.
10. Large duodenal ulcer
9. Apendicitis
8. Stepped on a lightbulb [while running barefoot]. That sucked balls.
7. Jumped off a fence and landed on a long roofing nail. Went into my heel bone and bent making it more difficult and painful to remove. Hopped home [was 17 at the time] and had my mother pull it out. It took pliers and her leaning backward and pulling as hard as she could, repeatedly, to remove out. Not fun. at all.
6. Crushed hand at Gold's Gym while putting pressure on the weights of a Cybex Machine to remove the pin. Didn't know it was faulty and had 60 pounds of plates stuck at its apex [roughly 8 feet]. Applying pressure released the weights which crashed down onto my hand. The force busted the side of my index finger open horizontally along the joint exposing the bone.
5. Badly pulled back. Throwing your back out is no joke.
4. Instantaneously ripped off big toenail. Hopped off the same fence and landed on a storm drain while wearing sandals. The top of the sandal snagged a drain slit which pulled my toes downward upon impact. My big toe made it through the next slit between the metal bars. My toenail didn't.
3. Severe Grade 3 high ankle sprain coming down with a rebound in basketball. If you don't know what a high ankle sprain entails, here's an exercise: grab your foot and try to fold it outward an inch or two. You can't, the foot isn't meant to go that way. Result is a high ankle sprain. Now try to fold it outward 90 degrees. LOL. That's a Grade 3 and six months of recovery. It left my entire foot and every square inch of my leg bruised up to my knee. Made peoples' stomach turn just looking at it.
2. Shattered ankle on a piece of metal rebar while running into a neighbors yard to catch a football. They had a pathway under construction that had a piece of rebar jutting out horizontally. My ankle bone kicked it head on at full speed. Black Hawk down. Sounded like a firecracker going off.Boik14, Fin D and Unlucky 13 like this. -

When I had pneumonia, I felt like my lung was about to explode. It took me time to sit up from/lie down in bed because the feeling of the liquid moving around was THAT agonizing.
