When Peyton Manning was first released and the forum lit up it seemed around 90% of fans wanted him to be signed and starting in 2012. Now that the initial buzz from the Manning frenzy has weaned a bit I wonder where the fan base stands.
Which QB with a "realistic" chance to be signed and starting do you want?

At this point, it's hardly a matter of "want" as much as it is a matter of what we can get when the dust settles. If we're really out of Peyton sweepstakes, how hard will we go for Flynn? Is he gonna shun us like Peyton will/might? Is Tannehill a top 8 pick?
I hate our situation. What a mess.
I would have liked Griffin to begin with, btw. -
I think if we really cant land a qb I pass on Tannehill at 8 draft all defense and play it out with Moore and if he sucks like most of us think he will you throw however many picks we need to move up to draft Barkley next year. If Moore has a great season then hey something worked out for us finally if not then o well.

I wanted Philbin to be hired out the realistic possibilities this year. If Miami signs Flynn I will think I am on a roll... -

For Miami to base what they do this year on the possibilities for what "might" happen in the 2013 draft is just a horrendous strategy imo. I think it is safe to say Ross/Ireland/Philbin or any of the other coaches or players will not base anything they do this year on what might happen in the 2013 draft. -
First choice is Manning, but I just wonder if Philbin is high on Flynn and been able to persuade Ross. If Manning goes elsewhere and Philbin believes in Flynn then I will support the new coach/QB and that would be my second choice. Just seems like if Manning doesn't come here then we'll get Flynn and won't need to think of a third option. I haven't seen a ton of Tannehill so mind could change, but as a third option I'd build the team up around Moore and see how he progresses.

Oh god.. Let me just say that i'm done if Tebow comes here, and it will also be hard to swallow Matt Flynn being the guy as well. I don't like Matt Flynn at all.....Yet it's starting to look like he's going to be the target... This is going to be awful if we get him. I thought we really screwed up not going after Robert Griffin...I would have parted the seas to get him.

flynn if jp being the oc in green bay thinks high of him go for it

Manning is plan a and Flynn is plan b. I usually dont like plan b's but this case is an exception for me. I wish we had more than 2 NFL games on him but there's no denying that is brief play time has helped his stock, not hurt it.

Well there is no doubt in my mind Weeden would be a top 10 pick if he was 22 years old. Certainly better than Tannenhill. However at his age I wouldnt touch him until the second.

Either way, I'd like to see a guy brought in through the draft.
