What's the definition of insanity again?
I'll have a very hard time showing up next year if this circus that starts at the top isn't corrected.
All the chips fell our way. 2 weeks in a row. All we had to do was win one game.
Pathetic.

Whaddya mean by support?
Go to the games? No. It's a three hour drive one way and I am not going to bother with that unless they become a winning team again.
Buy their gear? No. I made the mistake of buying Dolphins gear this season and I regret supporting them with that money. They didn't deserve it.TooGoodForDez, ckparrothead and ASOT like this. -
stupid question. We're all pissed off at the utter collapse the last two weeks, but any true fan doesn't stop supporting their favorite team. Hell, if anything, we're used to it.

Philbin - from a distance. I will check the score at the end of the day. I just can't take anymore of this obvious bullsh*t incompetence. I am throwing stuff around my house.
How in the **** do we not tag the run with 9 minutes left? The jets were ripping off 7/8/9 yrds a carryGMJohnson likes this. -
I will continue to support losing as long as Ireland is retained.

I def won't be buying the sunday ticket next season if heads don't roll. It's too bad we can't fire our peewee herman lookin owner.

I always support this team, but the number of games I miss grow every year.

I own two Miami Dolphins' jerseys, Zach Thomas and Dan Marino. I don't own any hats, sweatshirts or anything of the sort that contributes to the Dolphins. Not gonna give this team my financial support when they don't give me play-off wins.
-
Yeah I am with Dez, I'll continue to support losing as long as Ireland and Tannehill is here.
-
I'll give a "somewhat". I'll be excited its back, but maybe give a few golf claps. With the Olympics, World Cup, Women's World Cup qualifying coming up in 2014, I won't be paying much attention to the Dolphins this offseason if changes aren't made. My excitement level would drop considerably if he is retained.
I'm currently wishing I could do something with all this crap Dolphins gear I got. The homeless won't even want it. Guess I'll pack it in a box until Ireland is s--tcanned. -

If Ireland, Philbin and Sherman are still here next year I won't be, can't take another year of this no heart, out coached every game scrub reading post game speeches off an index card
-
I'll still support them... but likely not to the level I have been recently... I likely wont dedicate myself every sunday like I do now. I invest too much time into this team... for nothing really. Another 8-8 year. Another poor coaching staff. Another mediocre roster. There's much better games on each Sunday that I could watch, enjoy, and not end up wanting to kill someone, or break my tv.
-
At this point my support is purely masochistically driven.

I will always be a DolFan but my anger if Ross continues with employing Ireland he will not get money from me in any shape or fashion except through my viewing on local TV and radio. No Sunday Ticket, no jersey's or gear, NOTHING.

I live in Charlotte nc and I still go to 2 home games a year, moms lives in Boca.... But yea I don't care who is running the team or owning the team or who is on the field or sidelines... I will still go to as many games as I can.. I. Will still always love the dolphins.. If you are thinking of leaving then good, we don't need you flip flopping fans anyways.. Your the reason Miami gets a bad rep.. Please leave and never come back.. Go support the lions oh they don't need your support either because true fans are true for life.. How bout you go jump on the cowboys nuts.. They welcome all bandwagoners...
if you think about walking away you were never a true fan.. The front office never was in our hands... So why would you leave because they don't fire such n such.. It's not up to us.. So. I put my faith in mr Ross.. It's not my life he is running, it the dolphins, although I cry a lot over this team I'm not really affected after today... -

what gm is going to keep a lame duck coach i hate ireland but getting rid of him alone fixes nothing plus at the end of the day its on the players for putting up 7 points in 2 weeks that **** was weak

no true fans walks away from their team. that being said im not holding it against anyone who says they are walking away right now, they are upset and blowing off steam. tomorrow people will be upset but it will be more controlled and focused.

This was actually a pleasant December for the most part, and considering my short term interest was remaining relevant through Christmas, that much was accomplished. Being a dolphan these days, clearly isn't for the faint-hearted, and witnessing that defeat to the Jests was brutal to say the least, but reading today's Official Game Thread, that was just plain defeating.
Sometimes a thinning of the herd is a necessary evil. -
Sure it was nice we were in it this year down to week 17, but every game is so frustrating, and maddening to see how incompetent and inconsistent we can be. Games like this bears/packers game... theyre entertaining. Win or loose, its fun to watch. That's what I want to see from us again, good, consistent, entertaining football. If im a Bears fan, taking this loss today would still hurt... but after I got over that, I'd at least still be happy that I spent 3-4 hours watching a good, entertaining game. Not a sloppy inconsistent cluster**** like we usually play. -
I will support the team no matter what. If Ireland is not fired, I will no longer support Mr. Ross.

For the people saying you are done with the team, why are you still here? If you're done then leave.

I'll watch all the games of course.
I'll go to the game here in Chicago, as I've gone to at least one game every year for the last 10 years.
But, I'll be pessimistic. I'll have zero faith. I'll have no hope or optimism.
I won't buy anymore merchandise that's for sure. -
I will still watch all 16 games even if Ireland becomes GM/Head Coach (hey, things could always get worse!).
Part of my motivation for remaining a fan is the fear that they'll turn it around and win the Super Bowl a few years after I ditch them.
