That is a major scouting opportunity and we need to be settled with a GM at that time, or we risk losing yet another chance to see talent and evaluate it.
As usual this team is lagging behind in the process because the owner Ross aka Bozo the Clown, was not prepared for the loss on Sunday.

The Faiders owner isn't meeting with the HC until next week... :sidelol: Titans aren't meeting with Munchak until after the New Year. A week to 10 days is not going to make a difference because we're not going to lure any "big name" HC candidate to this team. Who is a big name candidate this year anyway? Lovie Smith? And IMO we're likely to promote Brian Gaine as GM.

Me too! You just know it will never meet expectations and something will always go wrong. Another question is which starters will be purged from the roster this year. Its great to have a cap surplus, but not when you sacrifice quality of starters. I wonder how well we would have done this year with Long still at LT and Dansby and Burnett at LB. Maybe the Martin, Incognito issue would never have happened with Longs Character and presence in the locker room.

It would be easier to attempt to define the word "evaluate" when it comes to the Dolphins. "Watch" appears to be the appropriate word, and "watching talent" on other NFL teams the most appropriate use of the words "watch" and "talent".
