i agree total BS on Lights part... they both had to be ejected just because they were involved... but come next week, the NFL should be suspending, and fining the heck out of matt light. thats unacceptable behavior... Crowder shouldnt really get anything, all he did was shove Matt light... that happens all the time... knowing the nfl though, they'll probably both get it evenly... which stinks...

Its a physical fight. Anyone who laid a hand on anyone (aka being involved) will get tossed.

he did that cause the fans throw stuff at the players. had nothing to do with CC.

 

Lost in all this is the fact that Matt Roth just bull rushed a Pats lineman...I was happy to see he was still on our roster considering his play the past 6 weeks.

PI call on Goodman? Give me a break, Moss had his arm extended for fifteen yards before pushing off him to make that catch.

There should have been an unsportsmanlike conduct call on the play before the PI call. I don't remember which one, but a Patriots linemen took a player standing (just standing) next to the pile watching and threw him on the ground after the whistle was blown.

The refs screwed us, they did... the Moss TD blew the momentum... You take that back and penalize him for 15 yards and then what? It's still a 3 point game and the Patriots would likely have been kicking a FG...

 

As much as I believe Light should get suspended for throwing punches, he is a Patriot, nothing is going to happen to him except for the standard fine for getting ejected. I'd bet right now that both their fines are the same.

It's a similar situation. Crowder didnt participate in the fight or throw a punch or anything.

If anything Ayodele should have been ejected for tackling light to the ground after. Crowder bumped Light, that happens a thousand times in a game.

 

I did not see it, but will later....I have a friend who recorded it for me. But from the history of the league Crowder was headed to the locker room...not a good rule, since he was not the one that started anything.

Yea Light will get off lucky because he is with NE which is BS also.

The radio team was talking like there were several calls that were BS towards the end, and they usually seem to be pretty fair on the calls.

We just need to regroup, learn from it and move on to next week.

 

A) If you shoved someone and he punched you, you "participated" in the fight.

B) Crowder didnt bump, he shoved Matt Light back.

C) If you were in the street and you shoved a guy and he punched you, BOTH parties will go to jail or get cited.

 

yes he did Alex. light pulled his helmet off and pushed him away and Crowder came back at him and slammed him in the chops with both hands. It was then that light grabbed a handful of dreads and showed channing why they suck in a fight.

 

In a way it's nice to see some fight in these Dolphins compared to last year. Not saying that the Crowder/Light tussle was acceptable by any means, but I really think that this team wants to win worse than they did that's year and that's only going to make this team better in the long run in my opinion.

 

But Crowder didn't lay a hand after Light punched him it was before.
