It surprised me how many times it made me laugh. I started watching it more as a goof. Expecting to hate it but enjoy my hate.

It was well written. The songs were enjoyable. The characters were well made.

I can understand why someone would hate it, however I loved it.

hmmmm Im game

1. Modern Family - it is truly the one show that makes me laugh out loud every time i watch it
2. The goldberg's - im such a sucker for 80's 90's humor
3. Pawn Stars - rick harrison knows so much useless ****, i feel like i am learning something every time i watch it.
4. Elementry - I prefer "sherlock", but this show does a good job at keeping me interested
5. Parenthood - this show plucks at my heartstrings.

( i've seen the first episode of Better call Sal, i really liked it, a lot.)

I did watch Backstrom yesterday as it was the premiere and found it to be quite enjoyable. Additionally there's been two episodes of Man Seeking Woman and I have enjoyed those as well, though I like Jay Baruchel, and can fairly relate to his character.

I didnt mind Backstrom, will probably watch it again. Not the best detective show on tv, and i liked Monk a lot better. But, i think it could be enjoyable.

I don't want to knock anyone else's opinion or taste, because I think everyone is entitled to like anything that they like, but almost all CBS comedies seem like they're stuck about 20-25 years in the past to me.

that's most network tv sitcoms in general IMO. What makes Mike and Molly good is it's actually funny instead of just trying to be funny like most other network sitcoms that fall flat on their face. The crude humor and sarcasm is a major plus! :yes:

Bar Rescue comes back in a week (after the Super Bowl I believe). Anyone whose ever worked in a restaurant can relate. Everyone else may be disgusted. :)

I think that most sitcoms tend to be lousy as well, but its all just personal taste. I do think that networks tend to have styles and theme, though, and aren't all just the same. I've never liked anything on CBS, and I don't think that I've liked a comedy that originated on ABC since the 90s, though I've enjoyed some of their dramas. NBC and FOX tend to produce shows that appeal more to my tastes, in general, both in substance and in style.

My favorite comedies of the last 15 years or so are Scrubs and Community, both created by the same guy, Dan Harmon. I think that both would rate in my top five all time favorites.

Scrubs was created by Bill Lawrence. Who also created Cougar Town.

Very similar humor in Scrubs and Community. Love both of those shows.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was involved somehow. However I cannot find anything on the internet with the quick search I did yesterday.

Constantine really picked up. The episode with Chaz and Faust was awesome.

Gotham gave me an inspiration. I am going to pitch a TV show about a young Jonah Jameson trying to make it as a news reporter. He is helping out his neighbors Ben and May who have to take care of their young nephew whose parents were mysteriously killed. Trying to find out who really killed him. The show also follows a young Wilson Fisk as he rises up the ranks in the mob. Jonah also has to deal with a young upstart businessman who is making life hell for the city named Norman. Could he have ulterior motives? Jonah is surrounded by a cast a characters, like Otto the Science reporter, Betty Brant the plucky secretary that always gives him sass, his informant on the streets Mac Gargan and a his rival reporter who always tries to steal his stories Eddie Brock. He also has a love interest, a young single woman who is doing her best to put her life back together after her abusive husband died, Anna Watson. I am going to call it, Bugle.

I watched one of the episodes last night and wasn't into it. normally my type of show. I think the premise for this kind of show is good, just didn't have any impact. maybe I just saw a crappy episode. debating on whether I want to give it another try.

I don't really watch South Park much but the "Creme Fraiche" episode was f***ing hilarious.

I am a huge fan of Hannibal, can't wait for it to return, they're going to be introducing Red Dragon elements.

After a few shows went off the air and some new ones have started this is my new list.

Currently on my watch list pending getting hooked...or not.
Backstrom--Columbo type of disheveled police detective / relies more on instinct than investigative skills.
Better Call Saul..Nostalgic remedy for Breaking Bad fans.

In the mini series category I watched the 10 episode Bosch series which is about an old fashioned type cop who disdains technology and the new police internal regulations.Dirty Harry type.Worth a watch.
