Are the 72 Dolphins in danger? I know it's early, only a quarter gone, but the Broncos haven't had a challenge yet. Scoring 40+ in 3 of the 4 games and the other one they scored 37. On defense, Von miller and Champ Bailey have yet to play. 2 starters on D missing.
This team could be scary.

They probably wont go undefeated, at least I hope not. But they do look like its a possibility. They cant be stopped it seems.

More and more the "hard" part of our early schedule doesn't seem to include the Ravens

They'll likely sit Peyton out if they clinch homefield, so I say no.

They may go undefeated. Peyton is playing better than he has ever played. Simply incredible to watch. Enjoy it fellas we may never see another QB perform at this level in our lifetimes.

I'm a big fan of Peyton, but he probably will choke at some time in the playoffs. Sad to say cos like I said, I'm a big fan, but history doesn't lie.
-
Not if their undefeated. -
I'm okay with the Broncos winning the Super Bowl THIS year, have lots of friends and family that are Bronco fans, so it would be nice to see them happy, but only for this season. 2014 belongs to the Dolphins....lol
I just hope they lose a regular season game. -

no team with peyton on it would ever go undefeated. He's not concerned with doing it, and won't play past the first series in weeks 15-17. They're not going to win all of those games IMO. but could they get to 13-0? yeah, easily...
-
Looking at their sched, I actually like how Indy matches up with them. Then you have the epic Brady-Manning game of course, the two greats of our era always must-see, could go either way.
In the AFC overall, I give Cincy a decent shot at them if Dalton can get his act together or at least play like he did whn they smoked the Packers last week. And I gotta think Baltimore figures it out a enough on offense and that new young D gets their act together since the week 1 embarrassment - they do have a lot of talent, imo.
It's just so early in the season to know anything for sure...but the Doncs do look damn good.
I think we'd struggle to stop em. But this is part of why tomorrow night is going to be so fun: I want to see how our new defense handles an elite QB. Psyched. -
Ask the 2007 Patriots. Or Peyton in the Playoffs.
Its also not going to be so easy when they go on the road to KC, Indy, NE or SD. They beat the 0-4 Giants, 1-3 Raiders, 1-3 Eagles, 2-2 Ravens (All in Denver except NYG)
I know they are absolutely thumping these teams beyond what is normal, but still. -
I think they will lose in Week 7 against the Colts.
-
I'd guess not because it's so difficult to do... however they get Von Miller back in week seven so that makes their defense much better. They'll have to beat the Cowboys (likely) and the Jaguars (LOL) before Miller returns.

How about last year when he threw a pick in OT, which led to the Ravens winning? He still has his struggles in the playoffs despite winning one superbowl.
If they ARE in danger, and Peyton DOES have intentions of playing through to the postseason, I just hope their road beyond, crosses with ours.

We will beat them in the AFC Championship game, so no.

Because he is a playoff choke artist? His history is littered with terrible defeats in the playoffs, including last year. Funny you mention his playoff run to win the SB. He was absolutely terrible during the playoffs that year. 3 TD's and 7 INT's. His defense went all-world during that run. And he beat the worst SB team in the history of the NFL, the Rex Grossman led bears.
As for his 2nd superbowl, you seem to have forgotten the pick 6 that gave NO the win...

Not happening.
Though the prospect of playing them at Invesvo in the postseason appears daunting.

I like Peyton, so it hurts to say the WORST thing they can do is win homefield advantage in the playoffs, in Denver, in an open roof stadium, in January/February. Peyton has a terrible track record in post season cold games......it may come back to bite him. Also, no one has gotten pressure on him yet....they will lose 1-2 in reg season imo.
The team looks solid right now but its a long season and injuries can change the direction and destiny of the team .They dont have the kind of depth to go all the way IMO.
15-1.
They have only played one good team (the Ravens) and they seem sketchy at this point.
Their best 2 D players haven't even played a down yet.
IMO, Peyton is the best QB ever.
They are doing pretty well with a backup LT, they are on their third C, Von Miller and Champ Bailey have yet to play. Im not a Bailey fan, but he's still pretty good.

Lol. He happens to run into a dynasty in The Patriots and lose to the eventual champs from last year. Peyton is anything but a choke artist. It's just a label that lazy analysis clings to from prior to him winning. He is a better playoff performer than Marino and just about every other QB that has ever played the game.

^ this. It really seems this year Peyton has taken his on-field brilliance and COMPLETE understanding of what the defense is doing to another level. The guy has it totally figured out, it's plain to see. I swear, it seems that EVERY play he has it all figured out ahead of time...bar none. If they lose, it'll be a fluke IMO.

This is a great thread - I was thinking the same thing today. This team is ridiculous and Peyton Manning is closer to having a perfect passer rating than anyone else is to him. The Defense is solid, the return game is spectacular, and the offense is loaded with elite players, starting with Manning. WOW.
Better performer with all star offenses. lol @ you comparing him to Marino. Marino played the majority of his career with guys who couldn't make the roster of another team once finished in Miami. And in a different era, not one suited to give QBs every advantage.
But yeah, Manning 's 8 one and dones surrounded by all pros year in and out is perfectly excusable by lazy analytics. His epic collapses and poor performances are totally normal, common, everyday occurrences. Nothing suspect about it. Happens all the time...
Denver has to go to New England in November. By that time, I think the Pats will have enough weapons back to take them. Belichick has figured out how to win in so many different ways over his career, and even this season. They don't have the ability to run that 4 WR no-huddle offense, nor the 2-TE set, so what to they do? Run it down your throat and throw selectively; and Tom Brady carves you up (when his receivers don't drop the ball). If anyone can figure out how to slow down Denver's offense (which is pretty similar to what New England ran last year) it's Belichick.
Indianapolis might be able to slow the game down enough as well...if anything, that's a bigger speed bump. I think Kansas City's D is pretty darn good.
So, overall, I'll say no. Denver won't go undefeated.
Hmm Interesting that Manning could have gone undefeated with the colts, Imagine is he has the opportunity with Denver?
