I think Buffalo blows us out honestly. Especially with Albert out, it's a wrap. This offense is too mediocre for teams with a real defense. The only touchdown Kansas City scored was due to a fumble on a punt return, if he holds onto that ball the Bills win.

I mean considering all the Dolphins have going into this - from losing 3 straight to the Bills, to bulletin board material like this, to being home on Thursday night (which has been a big boost to Thurs night teams not having to fly somewhere quickly after playing a game) that if they lose they really don't deserve to go to the playoffs (and they won't be anyway considering they still have @Pats, @Broncos, Ravens and would only be able to lose 1).

The Bills have won the last three games against the Dolphins and clearly manhandled the Dolphins the last two times these teams have met.

So if the Dolphins want to prove McKelvin wrong, they need to show up on Thursday night and beat it the Bills. It is as simple as that.

Until they do, it is hard to fault McKelvin for expressing his view that the Bills are better than the Dolphins.

 

I agree that the Bills have a mediocre offense, but it has been the Bills defense which has been responsible for the past three victories over the Dolphins.

The Dolphins offense needs to play much better this Thursday then they have in recent games against the Bills defense, if they expect to win.

As far as the Bills QB is concerned. I would take Orton over the QB's who played against the Dolphins in those past three Bills victories. One of those QB's is no longer in the NFL and the other one is now the backup to Orton.

 

Right. All the talk about, "we got smoked by Lewis and Manual" is a bit ignorant. They didn't do anything special or outstanding to win against us...they rode their defense and STs. Granted, I'm glad it's not Manning or Rodgers with that defense.

 

They probably will beat us. Our O line is going to suck again without Albert, and their D line has eaten us alive the last 3 games we've played against them. We lose to them, we're not going to the playoffs, so we'll probably lose to them. Sorry, but I just don't see that much difference between last year's team and this one without Albert in the lineup.

 

Counter point: We will win. The oline will be good enough, Tanny will play lights out and our D will win it with a safety in the endzone late in the 4th!

Our line is going to be fine. Bank on it.

 

It'll take a team effort. We don't need to score a lot, just more than the bills. Our defense has to play lights out too, and the stationary kyle Orton doesn't present the same problems manual presented. If we can keep the Lions to 20 pts, we can keep the bills to less.

 

Not to mention keeping Rivers to 0...but that don't matter I reckon.

 

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the Bills' offense doesn't score a TD at all. Their defense has a better chance at scoring on us. But I don't see how we are going to score more than 10 points on them.
