DeVante Parker Must Start For The Miami Dolphins - RantSports (via http://ble.ac/teamstream-) http://teamstre.am/1NZOMF0
To sum it up, the writer believes that Parker is the key to giving the Dolphins a spark to the offense. It's also believed to give then a chance to win games.

As long as the trio of Landry, Matthews, and Parker stays together I don't care who starts. Those three guys are key to our future.
As for "spark" for the team is concerned, I think the cornerback position needs a shakeup more than anything. Give Lippett, Bowman, and Bobby McCain a look.gunn34 likes this. -
depth chart came out, matthews over stills. jennings still over parker. ****ing morons.

I loved the statement that Stills would have to accept a reduced role in the offense if Parker gets more playing time. Based on how little Stills has been involved in the offense the first three weeks. The only way his role could be reduced anymore is for him to be put on the inactive list each week.
So far the draft pick the Dolphins traded to the Saints for Stills seems like a complete waste of that draft pick.GARDENHEAD and dolphin25 like this. -
I'd like to see Stills get a reverse, quick screen, crossing route, something. Give the D something to think about other than Landy, Matthews, Cameron.

Parker is, in all likelihood, still catching up. IF he can stay healthy, he'll be getting starters reps by seasons end.

Parker looks smooth, catches what comes his way, and already has better stats than Jennings who got more playing time. It's time to give Parker a bigger role (starters should be Landry, Matthews, Parker IMO).

i havent given up on Stills yet. as for Parker I just want to see some jump balls thrown to him where he can make his catching radius pay off

One of the lone bright spots this year will be Devante Parker. He is looking solid. Love how he went up and came down with the football in the end zone last game getting it at its highest point. Unfortunately though Tannehill threw it out of bounds so no touchdown. Love the route running I saw and the hands. You could say maybe I'm jumping the gun but I think he will be a stud. Can't wait to see more of him as he gets more playing time as the year goes on.

Don't know what will happen to Stills since the emergence of Matthews and we got Parker and Landry. Call me captain hindsight but the team could really use that 3rd round pick right now. It's going to be difficult to get Stills playing time.

I wish people would break their foot and have pins, rods, screws in it and then talk about Parker not playing.... His recovery is still happening he isn't 100% despite what he says. Foot injuries take a long *** time to heal and often times don't heal to 100%. He missed a whole offseason.
I'm glad the dolphins aren't rushing him. Why re-aggravate the injury. Why throw him out there when he has had only a month of practice? -

Depending on a rookie wideout who lacks route-running polish to come in and help elevate the offense after he missed most of TC and preseason?
Ya, no. Like I said before the season started, I don't expect much of an impact til weeks 8-9 at the earliest.Limbo likes this. -

I don't think a spark is what is needed. We need someone who can block or tackle or our players deciding that they should start doing their jobs.
I'm all for Parker getting more playing time but he can only do so much when DL are chasing RTH in the pocket and he is running for his life. Furthermore, we can't have LB getting pushed back 6 yards and a DL that does's disrupt running lanes.dolphin25 likes this. -
WR snap counts for last Sunday's game when the offense had 76 snaps: Landry = 59, Jennings = 45, Parker = 41, Stills = 40, Matthews = 39
I don't really care who starts, I think it is more of a case where Tannehill needs to start targeting Parker more. Matthews with less snaps than Jennings and Stills is nuts. Not a knock on Jennings and Stills, but it is obvious Tannehill and those guys aren't anywhere close to being on the same page. Good things happen when the ball is thrown to Matthews. -
